Would you take Hiku if could get him for 250K? Like many on here I do not watch 8 games of league a week. So I wont make shit up about other clubs and players we should poach as I do not know their system.

I do however see a lot of Penrith and eels games so I know their systems and depth.

EDIT - just checked, it was rumoured to be a deal of 1.3-1.4 million over 3 years so not quite 600K a year.... but still good bloody coin!

I rate Hiku. Runs hard and can bust tackles. It would be for a wing spot here. As far as 600k? I just do not believe it. I recall clubs where throwing around 350 at him. I reckon perhaps 450k at a stretch. So I think 250 - 300 could land him with panthers paying the difference. At that price he would be quite good value and worth having a crack for.

I'd sooner turn Robson into a dummy half for 2017, if we needed something different to De Gois or Pritchard to complement Guth at 6.

Not that the broncos ever lose a player they want to keep but Tom Opacic seems like a decent young one.
Also while Cameron Cullen is apparently going to Manly, it may not be too late to have a word with him given the pathway to first grade would seem easier with us given they have DCE and are getting Blake Green as well

Hey RAM your thoughts on Tepai are starting to look like you went off to early on the 20yld. He is really starting to look fast and hitting the line like a brick.
Its ok to bang on about why we let this junior go after they come good but first you need to give them a decent chance.

Next year I see Tepai climbing the order and becoming our best forward. His progress the last 8 weeks has been great.

* Brown should be announced shortly.

* the outside back isn't a big name player by any stretch but good player who would probably be a better back up than those that are already there, his name was mentioned in social media circles and around the ground last night..

* no mention of josh Hoffman ( although he may be in the picture ) but there could be at least 2 more outside backs that could be done shortly.

* the younger brothers of Bevan French have been tied up for next year both very very talented ( Dion and Luke ) ne is 15 the other 18.

Melbourne Storm has announced the re-signings of five players ahead of its blockbuster match at AAMI Park on Saturday night against the Sharks.

Kenny Bromwich, Cheyse Blair, Felise Kaufusi, Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Mark Nicholls have all agreed to terms to remain in the purple jersey.

Bromwich and Blair will both remain in Melbourne until the end of the 2018 season, while Nicholls, Kaufusi and Asofa-Solomona have all re-committed to the club for an additional year.
