I saw on a Facebook page last night we are talking to David Fifita and RCG. Penrith to pay 25% of his wages.
How good is this young man David Fifita going to get? A big body with footwork, good offload and good speed. We'd definitely be in premiership window if acquire him and RCG plus promotion of Stefano int5o NRL. Actually heard a story a little while ago that tried to get him to club a few years ago but he wanted some money up front but board (during Sharp's era I believe) didn't give approval.

Big dragons prop who has played a couple of NRL games. QLD junior I think who went to the dragons via the storms under 20’s.

Big boy and still fairly young 23. Haven’t seen a lot of him play, but we already have a couple of young inexperienced props with potential (and probably better) in Stefo / Kaufusi we don’t need another one.
Cheers Joshy.

I still cant believe after 19 rounds, we are still running around in jerseys with previous sponsor names patched over on the back. Club must really be doing it tough. Amateur hour.
Could be that the current jersey design is on the way out. Use em rather than waste em. Bernie is gone so maybe we will revert to the 1947 jersey next year. I loved those big white collars.

This is not a sign of armatureism, it is a sign of prudence. If your football club is losing $5m this year, then reigning in expenses wherever possible is exactly what is called for no matter how small.

I’d imagine if we somehow did sign Fifita, Brisbane might even want him off the books next season and release him so they can go after someone else. Signing those two transforms our side for the next few seasons at least. Get it done.

Just hope RCG's form is a result of his situation and not a mental or physical issue. He was great. At plus $500k he needs to be great again. 5 years is a huge worry though if thats the only option. Could be a deal breaker. Hopefully the Recruitment Teams power remains as is given Bernies imminent departure. We definitely dont need the balance of power altered.

I’m hearing you but I think he’s capable of returning to form. He was dynamite last year and it appears he’s unwanted but Cleary at the moment for whatever reason. He’s 26 so he’s surely got some great footy left in him.

Penrith SURE CAN develop a good player. Those kids who debuted last week are very very good. If they are going to off-load RCG, you can bet they have someone ready to take his place.

You forgot to mention Dylan Brown. How good is he going to get? His skill set is unbelievable for someone so young so imagine what he'll be like with a bit more experience and maturity. Only downside is his back injury which needs to be managed very carefully.

Undecided about Dylan Brown. He needs at least another season before we comment on him or how good he's going to be. Daniel Mortimer was better in his first year.

I normally admire your opinions but on this one, I couldn't disagree more.

Yeah, I agree with you.

Daniel Mortimer played more games, for more try assists, but Brown defends better, had a stronger running game, and has shown maturity with his kicking game.

Dylan Brown is a super, super, super exciting prospect for us - he is an absolute gun, and I've been saying it for years!
