Have we got a great record in providing second Eels opportunities?
I can only think of Tahu and Hayne and both those were absolute disasters.
Are there and others?
Just thought of a goodun. Bob (The Bear) O'Reilly. Any others?

Willie Tonga came back for 3 years. Was injured for year 2 but did great in years 1 & 3.

He came to us in 2012 after playing Origin in 2011.

This. If it turns out he is staying in onion or we can’t afford him, c’est la vie. But Semi is an awesome player, this doesn’t detract from Sivo’s ability, not does any disparate salary detract from Semi’s ability
It's enough to make your eyes water...

Semi would make our backline too expensive. Players only get a certain amount of touches. Sivo,Fergo,Blake provide enough strike. Having MJ helps defensively. You then have 3 other running players in Moses,Brown and Gutho. Let's fix the pack up.
Semi mean no MJ.
Example
Alvaro + Semi or
Fafita + MJ

Semi =27
Jennings = 31

Unless we have a young Centre in the wings in the next season get Semi

Your assuming that you know what Semi will take after his Alan Bond years in France.

I think we have shown that we won't pay overs these days, so it's highly unlikely that we will lose our shit over Semi and pay him squillions. Relax, lean back and trust the club.

Jennings is a better defender than any other option and would cost less than half what Radradra would cost us. Also brings more experience. I'd say his retention is almost essential for a well balanced squad.

How Much is Jennings on how much does Semi want? Jennings also only around for 1 more season if Semi wants same as what Jennings for lets say 3-4 seasons why let that opportunity pass?

Michael Buettner did ok, got to a GF with him

Ian Hindmarsh kicked a good field on his return

Peter Johnston did ok

Jason Bell was pretty good for a while

David Penna was an important member of our side until he broke his neck

Junior Paulo hasn’t embarrassed himself

How comfortable did Semi look in the press box? That could only be a good think for his potential sponsors...TPA's. ;)

He has shown he will go to highest bidder. Desperate clubs would perhaps make him there marquee player and throw 1 mill
