I was trying to be kind, but yes Keith Turdan is a shocking choice.
Well done Toddy having a great debut year.
In the meantime, I believe the AFL have The Living End.

BRONCOS BARGAIN: MEAD’S HUGE PAYCUT
Brisbane have snared a bargain.
The club’s newest recruit, David Mead, has cost them less than $150,000 for 2017.
It’s a saving of more than half of what Mead was earning at the Titans with his deal in 2016 believed to be worth around $330,000 a season.
By agreeing to just a one-year contract, it has kept the door ajar for the 27-year-old to pursue lucrative options in rugby overseas.
Shows how far off the pace the Clueless gimps are that run the NRL. I don't know anybody that would even admit to listening to that little mincer. In the meantime, I believe the AFL have The Living End.

Exactly. At $800k or whatever it was he was good value. At $1.2M (or whatever) it wasn't.So you reckon he became too expensive once we couldn't rort... Or something to that effect
Foran now carries that extra risk of reduced availability. Crisis clubs like the Warriors need to take bigger risks to overhaul whatever's wrong with them. Low risk players have better clubs to choose from so the Warriors have to pay overs. At even $600k (under the cap) Foran is a big risk if he wigs out mid-season and can't play. Stronger clubs like the Dogs might only be offering $400k under the cap, making him lower risk for them. But why not even a look in now at the fire sale 1 yr price NZ is rumoured to be close with?
He wants to be in NZ? Maybe? But if feels like it's not even half the story. After all BA is still good mates with him (sterlo one on one)
That's a lot of money you're willing to spend on glory. Dropping $250k a year for ten years adds up to $2.5M. That's a significant drop in lifestyle and opportunity you can provide to your loved ones just so you can win a bit of fame.Depends pou.
Id rather earn 500k a season then 750k if i ended my career with 2 premierships and in the finals most year rather then wooden spoons and not any chance every year just getting belted.
10 enjoyable years asther then putting your body thru shit for no glory. But thats just me. Some will agree and some wont. Thats fine but to me money ain't the driving force in my life. You may come from a different up bringing thou where you see glory in collecting wealth and possesions rather then memories and knowledge.
But when your dead i guess it means nothing. Wealthy people and possesion collectors just have a different way of thinking thats all....
As someone who spent his 20s pursuing happiness I can tell you that I wish I had been smart with my money earlier in life. Like I said, all my fun memories meant nothing once I became a father. And yes thats why i like guys like Idris. While so many will bag him about missing the chance to make big dollars he done what was right for him at the time. That takes huge balls to walk away from that money to pursue happiness
Lol Salary cap what salary cap???THE BRONCOS signing spree continues with news the club has extended the contracts of three of their young stars.
Rookies Tom Opacic, Jayden Su’A and Jonus Pearson have all committed to the club.
The news comes off the back of the recent re-signing of Test star Matt Gillett and Kiwi Kodi Nikorima.

So you're the one???I like Keith, there I said it.

They might be letting Hunt go a year early to free up some cash or they are back ending contracts.Lol Salary cap what salary cap???
Yeah that's probably it, it's not like they would do anything that wasn't above boardThey might be letting Hunt go a year early to free up some cash or they are back ending contracts.
he'll take a cut and sign for the minimum wageThey might be letting Hunt go a year early to free up some cash or they are back ending contracts.
I did the opposite...Worked hard from 16 to 26 and missed out on some fun100% agree with this! f**k I wasted some money in my 20's with absolutely nothing to show for it........
Mead is terribly overrated. I can't see any club offering more than $150k
