Well I did my own research (FFS) and Alvaro apparently is off contract at the end of 2021. So for it to be of benefit to us, you’d think another club would have to accept the remainder of his contract plus it’d rely on us having a replacement. Kaufusi appears to have leapfrogged him in the middles pecking order, he is also likely cheaper (or not more expensive), added with Nrown taking his option (Nrown is probably a closer like for like player to Alvaro than say Kaufusi or Torpedo are) then Alvaro probably is easily replaceable.Sounds like too much hard work
Was it Bernie Hasslett?Haha and numerous other childhood “superstars”.
And that union kid that did his ACL in the preseason. Others that I remember are:Was it Bernie Hasslett?

Alvaro is that good a player he can replace himself, how the f**k is that not exciting????Well I did my own research (FFS) and Alvaro apparently is off contract at the end of 2021. Although probably not with a player that @hineyrulz will find very exciting
Alternatively he is retainable assuming his dollars aren’t restrictive for next season. After that he is definitely replaceable given he’s off contract. So he could even be replaced by himself at a cheaper rate

Is it confirmed that Evans will leave ?I reckon Evans suspension came at the perfect time. After a couple of reasonable games his involvement dropped close to his average standard last game. Maybe with a week off he might be ready to smash another couple of games upon his return. I also reckon Kaufusi's (hopefull) increased game time is great for his development given Kevans wont be with us next year.
Dont think so but highly unlikely he'll stay I reckon. Hes definitely shown some improved form but is far from providing value for money over his entire contract. Id be surprised if Markey O hasnt got his papers marked. Is it confirmed that Evans will leave ?
You mean like Jaleel White?Haha and numerous other childhood “superstars”.
Or Greg Inglis's cousin/nephew. What happened to that future superstar? You mean like Jaleel White?
Did he ever do anything? You mean like Jaleel White?
Catch 22 - if he plays well enough, he’ll be good enough but cost too much. If he plays shit, he’ll be shit but also cheap.Dont think so but highly unlikely he'll stay I reckon. Some call that the Davey syndrome. I wish I knew what they meant.Catch 22 - if he plays well enough, he’ll be good enough but cost too much. If he plays shit, he’ll be shit but also cheap.
Yep. He's currently cheap enough that we can afford three high priced middle forwards to start in front of him. But if he gets some consistency and plays his best every week he'll be too expensive to retain.Catch 22 - if he plays well enough, he’ll be good enough but cost too much. Didn't he do that???Did he ever do anything?
