The worst attacking premiers of the last 20 years was either Dragons in 2010 or Souths in 2015. Those two basically "parked the bus". Just big guys hitting it up and the same backline move for 20 points per game. The Rabbitohs in particular turned me to hard booze (again) and inspired my fascination with changing the rules of the game.

Won't happen until BA goes. The extra year given him was a very poor decision by the club. Good coach but not a great one who I doubt will ever get us to a gf let alone win one.

Goes to show coaching has f**k all to do with it. Our defence has improved because of Matterson and RCG, and Mahoney getting a year older and stronger.

Mahoney has been ordinary to state the obvious and putting him in same bracket is silly!!

Charlie Staines from Penrith has been given permission to negotiate with other clubs. Maybe we should stat to look at other options for our backline. The guy has speed that our backline hasn't got and can play wing and fullback, probably centre too. But he is a fullback.

He was the only Eel not to miss any tackles last night. Also made nearly a tackle per minute. He is a much better defender than last year.

He needs to bring a lot more than tackle stats.
He isn't a good defender.
At the moment I would have Ray Stone ahead of him for the dummy half duties. Ray is a better defender and equal at the other stuff except kicking.
