I'm kinda liking Trent Barret Head Coach V2.0 also failing miserably. I know the roster is weak, but we heard nothing but positive spin about how the Panthers attack last year was all down to him. They look like they couldn't score in a knock shop at the moment... And what do you do when you're struggling to score points? Bring in Lachlan Lewis is NOT the correct Mr Barrett!!!
Kick them while they're down, I say. No mercy!

Side note. As happy as I am to be 3-0 and maybe 4-0 come weekends end.

How f**king good is it Dogs and Manly both 0-3 and probably 0-4 at weeks end?!!!
Either one of them getting the spoon would be fkn great...We should be 4-0. Hope we don't take them lightly or be complacent. Bank these wins now

The best thing about all this wrangling and player maneuvering is that Parra is now seen as a great destination for quality players who want a sea change to come to.

We can pick them up at value prices while other clubs need to pay overs. I feel good mofos!

in the space of a week, we have picked up a middle and former Australian school boy from the Raiders (Dragisic) and a back (Harding) who was top 30 with the dogs for our flegg side, another middle who was training with the Tigers NRL (Rodwell) during the offseason for our cup side and a promising middle from the cowboys.......yeah some smart recruiting happening ...

How the tide has turned!

Like I and a few others here have been saying all along, we needed to get the Admin right and then this club would be the number one club in this State bar none if we included every aspect of the game.

But posters like Pou kept telling us we couldn't match it with the top clubs no matter what and would rollout excuse after excuse. Pou still believes that we can't get sponsorships to match the best clubs, but again that will change the longer we stay strong and successful on and off the field.

All I kept saying was we needed the right strong leadership and all the benefits of being Parramatta would start to present themselves. It's a no brainer really. Parra is the bomb and we will be unrivaled soon, we just need a few more things to be addressed, like setting up our juniors the way Gould has for the Panthers and now the Warriors, but that is for another discussion.

So I was very critical and vocal about it. The management of this club nearly ruined this club and it was a minor miracle that things went down the way they did and we ended up in the place we are today. All the ingredients were there, but the chefs were like British holiday students who didn't even know how to turn on the oven. Now we are run by Cordon Bleu Chefs by comparison and the souffle is coming out high and tastier then ever.

Like I always say, NO EXCUSES!

No, I said sacking the coach wouldn't change anything. Our club needed to build slowly and steadily, and sacking coaches would just fuel our reputation for instability.

We still can't match it with the top clubs but we're getting there.

Merkin you said all we had to do was sack the coach and three quarters of our squad and we'd win the comp.

Don't cream your pants yet. We've still done absolutely f**k all. The souffle could be full of faeces.

I'm not, but this is the best run admin wise that Parra has ever had. So there is good reason to be very optimistic at the moment. But yes, I have ben around to long to not know that all the great work can be quickly undone via a couple of terrible decision from the top brass. Or Haven help us if those low life factions ever reappear again.

But for the moment I just want to not worry anymore and enjoy our clubs good fortunes for once without the specter of gloom and doom awaiting us just around the corner. I want to believe that we can actually win the title now within the next few years.

So until something changes in a negative direction at admin level, I will be living my footballing life as a happy go lucky, care free winner from now on. Skipping off into the sunset and whistling as I go.

La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la...
