Origin 3 might end up in Melbourne after all. What a merkin.

I said a few weeks back they should have swapped the Melbourne and sydney games around before the townsville decision. As Melbourne had 6 weeks to get its crap in order at the time. Argument was they already sold tickets to sydney game.

All of greater Sydney now on a 2 week lockdown. No crowd at Penrith next weekend is a big loss for them
Nope. 50% capacity. I heard a merkin that thay they should move it to Homebush, as 50% of Homebush is still a lot. I support that.

Outdoor seated events are limited to 50% seated capacity.

So for the next two weeks you can't have a couple of your mates over to your house / backyard but can have 40,000 people from all over Sydney purchasing drinks and cheering on their footy side at Homebush? Makes sense

Makes sense. I would guess that only 50% of Penrith supporters could afford the train ticket anyway.

What a crazy day, one minute watching my son have the best win I have seen him involved in.

Was against the competition leaders who were pretty big but his more mobile side got them…..wasn’t expected……..

then shut down ……..let’s hope it’s only 2 weeks.. ha ha ha panthers no crowd…

And now have wife stuck at home for 2 weeks as well as school holidays…..FFS …

Yeah naaa… that was prior to today when lockdown became official….

you’re only allowed out of your home for work, essential shopping, to exercise or give care. Watching football is none of those

I dont feel too sorry for penrith. They were the ones who had a whinge about jakob arthur being in the bubble a few weeks back. I noticed there chairman whinges about a lot of things most weeks in the media.

He even lamented that Parramatta probably will benefit by getting a full house in round 25 when the return match is played.

We have got lucky we only have one home game in next 6 weeks so wont miss out too much. And that is Canberra on a thursday night which probably wont be a big crowd anyway.

At this stage the no crowds is only whilst the lockdown is in place, and then it will revert just to capacity restricted crowds as it had been previously at many venues. Only game we play that is impacted is Penrith.

Up on the GC after the bye we'll have more fans at the game than the Titans will, and then back home at Canberra the following week where we should have at least 50% capacity at Bankwest unless the lockdown is extended.

Some of us like to go to the away games as well.

Why won't it go back to 100% crowds after the lockdown?
What have you heard?
