He tries to be a hard merkin but isn't a forward. He isn't fast enough to be a back. Having said that, I haven't really seen him play in the back though.Jack of all trades Master of none!

*kick the ball dead on the third.our attack coach should just walk away and save us more embarrassment His new attack plan tonight was kick on the third
Makes little impact and plenty of mistakes. No wonder his a BA favourite.i saw in the paper today that ray stone has been given another contract for next year.
Like seriously we are going nowhere as a club keeping deadwood like that on the list.

didn't anyone read his resume
Kidwell oversaw a brief but embarrassing era for New Zealand Rugby League in which they lost two World Cup matches to tier-2 nations, and fluked a draw against another in the 2016 Four Nations tournament. A series of critical failures in team culture and management led to disappointing results and a mass exodus of players. One notable player to leave the team was Jason Taumololo. Taumololo defected to Tonga, who defeated New Zealand in a World Cup pool match. Kidwell was replaced by Michael Maguire after failing to make the semi-finals of the 2017 World Cup.[13]
In 2018, Kidwell was appointed as assistant coach at one of his former clubs The Parramatta Eels.[14]

I will never understand why coaches play favorites in a cut throat business like NRL. I remember Brain Smith used to have some favs as well.Makes little impact and plenty of mistakes. No wonder his a BA favourite.
My biggest complaint is that my favourites arent shared by BA.I will never understand why coaches play favorites in a cut throat business like NRL. I remember Brain Smith used to have some favs as well.
And his resume leaves Murphy’s for dead lol.Jeez I had forgotten about all that. And of course we went and hired him. He could never threaten the coaches position with that exemplary record hanging over his head. Perfect candidate.
I think he was coach of the abused wifes 3 aside L Grade Oztag premiers in that controversial season where all other teams (3) had hairdresser appointments and had to withdraw. Such a proud moment. Go Murph! You da man!And his resume leaves Murphy’s for dead lol.
Murph front loads his effort area’s and chasing the collisions like a mad merkin but.I think he was coach of the abused wifes 3 aside L Grade Oztag premiers in that controversial season where all other teams (3) had hairdresser appointments and had to withdraw. $650,000, eh? And it looks like he brought all his under 14's coaching experience with him.why didn't Daniel Anderson take his bestie with him on his NRL journey instead of leaving him at Parra https://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.a...b/news-story/f8c6bfef5092140f45b9004f1ef43231
Coaching in the NRL since 2007, eh? He's certainly got a wealth of experience.
I think his under 14's team won a prelim.... After the opposition were found to have played a 16 year old and disqualified...So is that 15 years of coaching for one Finals win?
Maybe he should've coached at bigger clubs? So is that 15 years of coaching for one Finals win?
Well actually had Murphy been an assistant coach at any other club he would've had a better record (or the same record had he been at the Tigers or the Knights the entire time). Turns out he has two wins in Final games as an assistant coach (Titans 2010, Parra 2019).Maybe he should've coached at bigger clubs?
