Even grubbers on the other side of the field, he's thereHis cover defense shows so much desperation it is commended. Like grothe snr coming from the other side of the TV screen to make a cross field tackle

I cant agree that Sivo offers anything out of the backfield. Hes slow, disinterested, and has no power unless hes 10 meters out from the try line. Then theres the oh Im hurt act every tackle and a play the ball you could time with a sun dial. He also cost us games recently by not going low over the try line.Agree, but I am worried without Fergo and Sivo for Round 1 we would lack some size coming out of the backfield. At least Waqa is a bigger body. There may be some one in reggies that steps up, in which case Opa goes back to being a backup and Waqa keeps his spot in the centres.
His selection was long overdue.I go to the early games at Bankwest and Makatoa has been a stand out so I am not surprised at how he is going.
Best defender in the comp.

I’ve criticised the kid this year a number of times. His defence is outstanding, no question. The problem has been his attack.
He seemed to get it all right last night. D was next level outstanding. No question. Saved us a number of times.
however what was far better than his D was his passing at the line, rather than 5 metres before the line which has been his go all year it seems. He kept the scum guessing all night. Outstanding game

Looks like Peachey to Parra is imminent
And yet the ceiling is different between organisations.Funny thing is there is a ceiling on expenditure, that's how Rugby League f**ken works you dope.
Or is it just a matter of how much they are prepared to spend? Its well known that many of the worlds richest people are also the biggest tight arses. Maybe its the difference between having ex footy players/fans on the board rather than businessmen. And yet the ceiling is different between organisations.
Just like you, he's not emotionally mature enough to handle that pressure week-to-week. If any player is going to have an absolute shocker it's a teenaged rookie, regardless of his talent level. That shocker could be coming any week now and it could cost us a game. Will Penisini is already the best centre at the club, why did it take so long to get him into the side??? His debut against Canberra showed he belonged, too much hair and not scrawny enough i suspect. He's one major problem solved.
So are you suggesting he should be rested this week for Oppy? Its maybe not a bad idea as your point is well made.Just like you, he's not emotionally mature enough to handle that pressure week-to-week. But I agree he is a massive talent, like a slightly bigger, slightly slower, young Michael Jennings.
I think Canberra will knock off Roosters next week anyway. We're more than likely to finish 5th now than finish 6th.
Could do a Daniel Anderson 2009 and set up the ambush. If we finished 5th we could play Sharks.
Penrith could put 50 on us if we rest players.
How do you know that? That’s you assuming without evidence.Just like you, he's not emotionally mature enough to handle that pressure week-to-week. Which is 99% of what we do around here. How do you know that? That’s you assuming without evidence.
We still might. But it’s probably because he wants too much or too many years. Why aren’t we resigning Fergo? He’s got another year or two in him
Go back to what they were like when they all had 51 games experience. Muster better, Luai better, Wighton better, Walker better, Foran better. Not knocking Dylan (he's playing in a side that has had the skill coached out of them), but at least compare apples with apples.
Got your blue and gold equals poo glasses on if you think Wighton and Walker were better at the same point in careerGo back to what they were like when they all had 51 games experience. Smith and Stone play very different roles. One is a defensive specialist in the middle and the other is a utility who is better at attack than defence. Anyway, the reason we haven't yet re-signed Smith might be because we want Peachey to play that role. Unlike Smith, Peachey is a genuine top 17 player.I thought I heard that too. Maybe just a rumour that didn't come off. I would have preferred signing him to Stone, but anyway.....
