I couldn't even tell you off the top of my head who sponsors most teams, and I'm usually pretty observant. How much is a front of jersey sponsorship worth anyway? Would a bigger company give us more coin, and how would that be any sort of advantage anyway?

Unless The Big Shbang of the club is also the major sponsor. Im sure that opens a million loopholes.

That’s what pissed me off about the whole Bill Moss saga. He was always better off as a wheeler and dealer outside the club rather than actively running it.

CommBank is the parent company of Bankwest anyway, they obviously just decided branding as the overarching company rather than one branch of the business would get more cut-through

I don't see the point of a watch. I know the approx time from the sun, the hourly time from radio or TV. And if I need exact to the minute I can check my phone.

I don't even have wallet these days.

I do. I think watches are awesome, and I often stand and look at the watches on display in shops at the mall. I assume those aren't even the good ones but I can't justify dropping $500 on a watch. I don't know how people can sleep at night with a $10k watch in the top drawer. Maybe they sleep easy because $10k is f**k all for them?

Even when it's the same team it's never the same team. 2021 Mahoney and Papali'i were very different players to their 2020 versions. So was Blake Ferguson.

Same team, same coach, same assistants, same major sponsor, same tortured fans, same board who are happy to do the bare minimum as long as they as they keep their jobs but I can feel a different result next year just because!!
