Seriously questions need to be asked on how close to 50% of the squad are off-contract at the same time. I dont recall any other club being in the situation recently.

That is madness in this day and age. The media have been sniffing around for a month and everyday it seems another off-contract player is linked with leaving.

The club need to sort 80% of this out by start of round 1. Otherwise it will just be a distraction. Every media conference will be about contracts.

On form I reckon he's one of, if not the best hooker in the game at the moment, If hooker is more important than say fullback, and the best fullbacks are worth a million plus, then he should be able to command 800k easily.

Especially given the lack of numbers of top grade hookers at the moment.
