That’s a good point - and also quite reflective on a lot of societies opinions on world affairs, news and covid - whatever the mainstream media is saying is taken as a fact because.. “why would they lie?”….

We've made the finals 4 of the last 5 years. Very good effort.
Only downside was we never got passed week 2. Where we ever a chance of taking it out? I still think 2017 was our best side and best chance of the lot. We had Semi and MJ was in his peak. It was a great side. Moses just lacked composure then and we did lose Gutherson and Bevan.

Unsure if we where a genuine threat the last 3 seasons. At best I would say this season we where a bit of a knock out chance with some form late in season. 2019/2020 I don't think we where a threat. We would of needed a lot of luck those seasons.

So perhaps we have been building but after 2022 I say the window is closed for a season. Best would be to start planning for 2024 -2026 and who will be part of that system.
