Gutherson is currently Perry/Rudder, but can Norman be Lockyer/Johns?

Who knows? Maybe Gutherson will continue to develop and he doesn't need to be.

Those two played with immortals!! They were average.

What about Gutherson is Foran / Evans ??

Gutherson is a rookie with plenty of potential just like those two were when they won the comp.

Gutherson already has had a better career then Perry had before his GF winning year.

My point was that Gutherson is currently about as good as Rudder and Perry. They are probably the two worst players on the list and to win they had to play with two of the best on the list (Lockyer and Johns).

They were better then cherry too compared to what cherry achieved pre his 2011 winning season.

No way is Gutherson in the Foran/Cherry-Evans league just yet. They were class from the get go.

Guts has barely played much in the halves so it's hard to suggest he is better than too many of the players who have won GFs in the halves.

If Gutherson doesn't develop a competent kicking game then we're stuffed...pure and simply.

He definitely does if he wants to be a quality top line half, but doent mean we are stuffed. French may a kicking game.

I agree but that Norman can't be our sole general play kicker.

Think we can discount Perry. He is easily the shittest on that list, but I think the Broncos covered him given only he, David Stagg & Casey McGuire were the only ones not to represent national sides & Stagg & McGuire both played Origin

This has been a challenging season for our team and our club, on and off the field.

It’s also been one where I have been proud, each week, of the commitment that our football team has shown, their resilience and focus.

The opportunity was there more than once to find excuses, and instead this group continued to turn up for each other, week in and week out.

There is no group of men I would rather be coaching.

This season more than 23,000 Members joined the Eels, a record in the club’s history. The support that you give us at games is a huge boost to your team when the boys run out onto the field, and the support you’ve given us this year in difficult circumstances has been incredible.

As we look ahead to 2017 and prepare for another gruelling pre-season, our goal is to play with pride and passion in the jersey every week.

We want to be a team that plays for the full 80 minutes. A team that, when you watch a game, you know exactly what sort of effort you’ll get from your team.
