He would have been above Ben Hunt before game 3. Hunt played out of his skin though so he’ll probably be above him now. The difference is Hunt is going on 32 next season while Mahoney will be 24 and likely battling it out with Harry Grant for the QLD hooker role over the next few seasons. In saying that Mahoney might never get a game if Grant doesn’t get injured so who knows a bit like Moses with Cleary. So where in the pecking order for a weak Origin team do you put Reed Mahoney?
I already bought some dolphins undies. In a way, I'm excited to see mahoneys style and involvement at the dogs. I'm sure the dopey bush coach has him stifled in attack.
Realising and accepting that we are stuck with bushy for life, I wish all the players leave eels for the dolphins so I can start supporting them.
Melbourne and Penrith are successful premiership winning teams who couldn’t keep all of their stars. The Eels couldn’t keep their rising star despite nothing to show but a couple of week 2 exits. Do you really think the Eels expected to lose Mahoney?Well why else would he choose the Dogs? To learn from Trent Barrett? Who do you think Kikau went there? Or JAC?
Glad your back GaryI already bought some dolphins undies.
How do you know otherwise? It's not about what we know, it's about what is most likely. You assume we gave him a take-it-or-leave-it offer and then were blindsided by a more desperate club offering more money. Actually, you think they offered the same (or less) but he left for the chance to be coached by Ternt Barnet. You're pissing your knickers over all this without a shred of proof but you're demanding proof from others? How do you know that?

I haven't gone anywhere. You're the weirdo that only turns up after a loss or some bad news.Glad your back Gary
I still love you
The Storm lose top 17 players every year. Sometimes a bunch of them. They always find replacements.I gotta give you some credit you are the eternal optimist in this forum. We could lose our best 25 players in one off season and you would still be positive

I'm thinking about trying out as the Dolphins mascot. I hope the costume fits me. They'll call me Flipper.I already bought some dolphins undies.
I have a peanut story. There beer nuts still in the shell. Some call them Christmas nuts.
Very disingenuous of you to say I’m coming to this conclusion without a shred of proof. There are multiple news stories that are reporting how much Mahoney was offered and the amounts are not unreasonable at all. I’m assuming you believe the reports of Papali’i and Leilua getting their 600k and 700k contracts so why are you using a different standard here? How do you know otherwise? Good luck Greed Mahoney!
