That kid is not even in our top 30 or on a development contract. I think the Mole went of a bit early calling him Moses' heir apparent.

Jake Arthurs can base his game on Scott Hills
He is now the fittest guy in the club.
Last season he was about 50% of the player he will end up. He is a game manager style. Not your flashy WOW factor player. At the moment he processes his plays far to slowly for NRL but he also reads opposition defense better then Moses and Brown and spots openings well.. Just doesn't execute at a good enough level yet. Also hr not scared to try something if spots it.
If he learns to execute and kick better he may become quite a good player.
Defense will not be a problem as a big frame and he is tough. He will add 10kgs to his frame.

That is how I would evaluate him at this point.

That's a pretty big if 12 months out. He's years behind JA.

Agreed, however if he's killing it in Flegg, they will put him in NSW Cup. I think the club have shown that they now have an appetite to promote kids. ATM we have Kye Rodwell under a development contract and that could change in a heartbeat if we have injuries in the backrow / middle.

Last year we could not use a development player until after Rnd 11. Assume the same ?

I also note that many clubs have 4 development players in their roster, however we only have 3.

Jrthur wasnt in the top 30 last season b4 his promotion. You dont recall the drama having to contract him after he'd already been selected in the Ones after BA got Ivans and the players approval?

Yeah but that was when Moses was injured. Now we have hooker depth, I can't see is carrying Shrub on the bench unless we pick a half with a bung leg.

Given he’s signed on a second tier deal, I’m guessing you mean no recognition from every NRL coach?
Either that or BA has done a fantastic job fending off other clubs to sign him on massive unders

Probably but we also had hooker depth last year. So you reckon Rein is a lock in for benchie? Id like to think so as well but unlikely based on past decisions.

Guys with * I say have talent and some future potential. They maybe a bust or could become NRL players.

The others I reckon could all play NRL and be average players but the ceiling and quality are known where they can reach.

Believe Rankin has a role in development with concentration on halves in juniors , seems very happy with that.

Unsure. Maybe but if everyone's fit and also Sivo to come back I think Perham may be the guy who is shifted.
I don't think they will want to stall Russels development for Perham at fullback.

Ogden,Makatoa,Greig,Hollis give us four props who all can handle NRL i think. Be interesting for Dave and how he can push in the pecking order.
Who knows about the other 3 with a big off season.
