Interesting to hear Parra fans perspectives on Kafusi. Does have age on his side as most props don’t reach their peak till at least mid 20’s. I guess the fact we have Fifita playing his final year @850k makes Kafusi seem like a reasonable buy. Only time will tell I guess.
you will get better value out of him than we got from Adam Dykes.

I think he’s a good young prop that get’s underused here with our two top quality front rowers. He’s not worth 400k for us but by 2023 he’ll at worst be a NRL quality starting front rower.

I reckon of those 5 years he probably has another 2 at an "elite" level.

I think the last 3 years will be ok but his leadership and experience invaluable for the younger crop coming through.

I don't think Parra are under any illusion that Junior will be elite throughout all the 5 years. I also think that this would be reflected in his contract till then.
Exactly. We are the low risk club. The long contracts are about minimising cost early on and keeping the player's leadership in later years. The club won't expect either prop to stay elite into his thirties, and the contract would obviously match those expectations.

Kaufusi has played more NRL games than most elite forwards had played by the same age. He will definitely be quality. He could play Origin in his first year at the Sharks. Or State of Oregon.

He is a no nonsense hard running prop who can offload.
Never given a lot of game time but does s good job and has great acceleration. I don't think he will ever be origin level prop but I think by 2023 he will be an above average NRL prop. 400k is a good price for that.

NO. I do not see him as reaching origin level.

We are a development club. Well done Parra. 😆

Like Tim Mannah? Sometimes all they need is to be solid and play in a strong team. It hides their weaknesses and helps them showcase their strengths. From there it's easy to sneak into Origin. We've all seen it before.

I went back to home forum recently and someone said BA junior has signed for 4 years and Oregano is leaving.

People are concerned for you.
Welcome back Silverdale. Tell me, why do the Tigers fans wish us so much misfortune? I have nothing but best wishes for your team. I save all my hatred for the Storm and the Broncos. But Wests fans seem to pray for the worst for their Sydney counterparts and sometime groundmates. It's quite hurtful.

What did he get. 20 mins? One of the worse players to play origin.
