There is probably sufficient flexibility in the backs to accomodate Shrub on the bench.
BA never plays a hooker off the bench. He likes to flog his 9's to death and I hope he does likewise to Rheed this year.
The other 3 benchies will be pigs who BA will expect to play 8, 10, 11, 12 or 13 as required.
Our 14 usually only gets 5 or 10 mins game time each week so it probably dosent matter much either way.
Personally I like a 9 on the bench so my choice would be Rein but Id be flabbergasted if it happened.

Obviously the “stop paying him” was a little facetious. The actual timeline would go:
1. Manager leak
2. Player doesn’t like leak
3. Player informs manager he doesn’t like leak and not to continue it
4. Couple years later manager leak again
5. Player says on your bike

It’s an agency contract. The players aren’t beholden to the agent ad infinitum. Sure there may be notice periods or payouts but the contracts aren’t worth the paper they’re written on
