Blake has been good there and I'd leave him there and play Russell in the centers when he is match fit

Russell is a Fullback-Centre-Winger. Blake is a Centre-Winger Whichever combo strengthens our team defensively is the way I would go. They are both excellent attackers.

I would go

Guth
Waqa. Peni. Matto. Lane marata sivo

14 rein
15 paps
16 maka
17 kaufusi

Though waqa on the right wing might be trouble

With dyl running that left edge with his step and dummies or 3 monsters to choose from with guth supporting on the inside

So N. Brown doesn't get a look in?

Russell is too small for centres at the moment. In a year or two maybe. And too many decisions to make defending there.

You are probably right and why you make the decision from a defensive point of view. To that end, I suspect that the odds are he is a better winger at NRL level then centre at this point in his career.

Munster may have a dickhead factor but hes 3 times the player Ponga is. Dolphins would be mad not to prioritise Munster.

I still don't get why the Dolphins don't sign Reece Walsh? He is a star and weapon and from QLD and reportedly doesn't want to stay at the Warriors because he wants to stay in QLD. It's a no brainer for me and he would be much cheaper then Pongia.

Pongia for all the hype and ability only likes playing on one side of the field, has to many quiet games and is very injury prone. Not the kind of player I would be investing more then a million a season in to get him. Reece would probably go to the Dolphins for under $600K. Maybe even around $500K depending how much he would prefer to stay in Brissy and play under Bennett.

Yeah I know he is still under contract at the Warriors for 2023, but we have all seen players break contracts for compassionate grounds reasons. He doesn't want to move to another Country. I think he could mount a decent argument.

My mate @ the dragons saying Alvaro wants to come back to parra.

We don't need him. I would rather see us progress Ky Rodwell then give Alvaro another go. I hope Rodwell gets some game time during the season and starts to fulfill his promise.

We need to find another Frontrower that has impact when he come on for one of our starting props. When those two come off we lose so much. This is why being a developing club is so vital to our chances as a club and being able to keep the ones we produce for at least 3-5 seasons after they have made their NRL debut.

If we had kept Stefano Utoikamanu for example we would not have that problem so much now.
