Greig will be that guy.

Yeah I'm hoping that too mate. He needs to develop and improve his hitup speed to increase his impact at the point of collision though and of course get more NRL fitness ready especially from a defensive point of view.

Once he is taking 2 and 3 defenders with him in metres post contact and then getting quick play the balls he will be close to the finished product. Then he can just start to focus on the bells and whistle stuff like passing and offloads.

Defensively he will need to work a lot harder to not be a liability if he wants to do long minutes.

Lads, I don't think we're going to bad as a lot of people think in 2023. We've still got plenty of skill and with young bucks coming up who could be better or just as good as Niukore/Kaufusi/Papali'i/Stone. If we resign Matto or sign Nikora we're still going to be pretty good especially if Dylan keeps up his form. Also, I think Hodgson will be really good for us, gets a year to get the body right and will be fresh. A Hodgson and Rein combo could be a really decent combo.
  1. Gutherson
  2. Sivo/Russell
  3. Blake
  4. Penisini
  5. Simonsson
  6. D.Brown
  7. Moses
  8. Campbell-Gillard
  9. Hodgson
  10. Paulo
  11. Lane
  12. Matterson/Nikora
  13. N.Brown
  14. Rein
  15. Cartwright
  16. Greig
  17. Rodwell
This is still a top 4 side imo.

BA always eases rookie forwards into matches. He did the same with Oregon and Marata. Why you surprised ?

Kafusi started and played big minutes his first few games. Then he was backed off. He hasn't improved much since his debut in my opinion.

I reckon the head knocks haven't helped him, he played some big games last year. In the last round against Penrith he was just about the best forward on the field before he went off with a HIA.

He played his first 29 matches off the bench. The first match he played v Storm he played the last 20 mins when we were down 16-0. He didn't play firsts the next week. Then in the final game of the year he played 45 mins in literally the worse forward pack assembled in history. He was subbing off fatso Vave and old man Mannah and picking up the slack for Kane Evans.

He then played

18 mins in Rnd 3 2019
14 mins in Rnd 4
41 mins in Rnd 6 (we lost Alvaro after 1 min)
28 mins in Rnd 7 (injury to Paulo)
26 mins in Rnd 8
22 mins in Rnd 9
13 mins in Rnd 10

He then didn't play again until

24 mins in Rnd 4 2020
41 mins in Rnd 7 (90 min game)

A lot of effort but I just scrolled right pass and ignored it so I wouldn't give you a y satisfaction of potential trials proving me wrong.
