Easy.

If football club membership stays strong and they don't lose to many, sponsors stay on board and merchandise sales don't take a hit, then all is good in the world. Where we end up on the ladder as long as we are competitive or there abouts at the end, then the coach is doing a good job and they can justify resigning him.
Exactly, we ain’t see shit in regards to a premiership, f**k this mob set the bar low

My 22 month old son has had to move into his toddler bed, and he hates it - he won't sleep on it.

We've spent he last 4 nights trying to get him to sleep.

It's rough.

Have you tried some soft music? I have no idea but it may help.
I asked a friend for you and he said put him to bed but leave a night light on and pretend to sleep in the same room next to him. Leave the night light on so he can see you are there.

Yeah, he has a night light.

As long as we are next to him, he falls asleep, but as soon as we leave his room, he gets hysterical.

It's been pretty rough :(

It gets better mate. Night light, reading books, warm milk. He will get used to it. It will pass. A bit more perseverance. It's tough right now but you will look back later on and hopefully laugh about it.
Stick to your routine

Have you tried the trick of leaving some clothes you've worn under the toddler bed, so the scent of parents stays in the room after you leave when he's fallen asleep? Not sure it works in the situation you're describing, sounds like it's more a touch/body proximity thing...
