Opacic I highly doubt is being offered 500k in UK.
I reckon he could get 150k-200k here Max. And maybe 300-350k there. I don't think the money in the UK is anywhere near what it used to be 10yrs ago. You hardly ever see guys flock over like we used to.

Yeh, that's about the upper limit. The Super League salary cap is the equivalent of about $5m (not much more than half the NRL cap). So unless he's one of their marquee players it is impossible to believe that he's on $500k per year. Hard to believe you'd make him a marquee player.

In the NRL you'd think he'd definitely get $200k, and maybe $250k for a 1-year deal. In the UK (and/or whichever tax haven he is paid through) he'll pay a lot less tax.
