Also not true. I played through high school and even a season in my early 20s. I was pretty ordinary but that’s beside the point.

I also coached but would agree that under 7s doesn’t count.

I just read an interesting comment on The Filthy Spammers regarding Forans Eels tenure by a self confessed well connected poster. It details the breakdown of the Anderson/BA relationship. A fascinating read. Maybe BA but entertaining nonetheless.

I don't think Pou is contrary because of any internal need for validation, but rather because he is able to separate emotion from logic when discussing various issues and his personal preference is to look at things logically, hence why his posts seem devoid of emotion and 'passion'.

And his "certain disdain for “rugby league people”, as you put it, is actually more of a disdain (your word, not mine) for those who refuse to see any logic and act or comment only from the emotional side of the issue. Like any logician, he looks for the truth in a statement and will keep challenging in an attempt to show the emotive poster the lack of logic in their argument.

Think of him as the Mr. Spock of the Forum and you will have a less stressful time. It works for me.

All that would be great if it were true.

The problem stems from the fact that he ignores the endless logic almost all posters have posted about, for example on the coach and his shortcomings, and only choses to focus on the emotional stuff to win his unwinnable and idiotic point of view.

He thinks that he can fool us with his logical rhetoric or statistics, but he ignores the facts that really matter and lives in minutia and deflection.

I think he just caught another one. When he takes you off his hook and throws you like a discarded old shoe into the dingy, see if you can flap about real big and crazy like, enough to jump back into the drink buddy. It's your only chance, otherwise Pou is dining large tonight on another well caught and duped suckerfish.
