Because that would mean the club would have to be proactive, the only time our dribbling CEO has ever been proactive was when he swooped on in through the back door and nabbed the job.
Do you think CEOs make major decisions like the head coach themselves or under direction from the board ?

You’d hope he’d have some input as well as the board and MON, the only time you see this clown is when things are all rosy.

Surely someone can see it’s become almost untenable with Bea??? And the constant picking of his son is the cherry on top of this complete shit show.

If amazing how far the debate about our performance has come under BA, from simply pushing of the bottom and making the 8 being good enough to now making the top 4 and being a serious contender is a must….

You wouId think someone running the club was doing the right thing, considering we are apparently a basket case run by a “trolley boy” and some “clowns”…….

The more I watch of him the more I think he is over rated. At one point I felt he was best centre in the game

He has allowed to much sh*t to creep into his game. Imagine what a coach like Warren Ryan would do to him?

Great player, but needs to strip his game right back again and start to focus on the high percentage plays only for a while. Bellamy would be the best coach for him right now. He would simplify his game right back and give him clear instructions to execute. If he went to a strong club like the Storm that base their game on defense first and repetitious training it would clear his head and we would see his natural talent emerge without the silly stuff that is happening now. He has been in a crap team for to long and now feels like he can just take the easy showy way out or the hail Mary play to get the result. A strong roster and coach would sort him out.

Reminded me of the secret meeting the Dogs had to get their last coach and former assistant to Cleary. How did that end up panning out?

The media frenzy with Ciraldo is at constant vinegar stroke levels. The guy has done nothing yet they are making out like they are about to land Bellamy or Bennett.

Personally I don’t think our club needs the pressure of another untested rookie coach. Todd Payten or Shane Flanagan present less risk. I’d take either of them before Ciraldo.

Well everyone should listen to me. I never rated Barrett as a head coach. He is a great assistant coach. Period.

I rate Ciraldo, he is a head coach. How good a head coach, that is the question? I think a damn fine one, if Gould doesn't white ant him and actually gives him real support without the medalling.

At this point as far as what is left on the table for us, well at present I would take Flano. Not a terrible option, and at least he is a proven winner. Give him 2 years and reassess. If he can attract quality players and get us deep into the finals and or a GF birth then extend. But if our defense doesn't improve by light years under his coaching, then spear him no matter where we on the ladder or finals results we have.

Our priority 'one' right now is quality recruitment to fill the void that the departing players have left, and getting our defense right to the point of being in the top 3 of the competition. Whoever the coach is, if they can't do either, they will be a failed coach from a Parra perspective. Finals isn't our goal. Our goal is Premiership victories. Defense, recruitment and development are what will get us there. The new coach must be all over that and obviously more, but from where we are right now, those two areas need urgent addressing otherwise we will go backwards fast and then it will take a hell of a lot of other things to get us to this point again.

Completely agree on all fronts.
Those two would be my preference and then Robinson although he has signed or is signing a 5 year extension..
If BA was to win a comp between now and 2024 then I'd extend him for 5 years. I really hope this camp they have been on just sparks them to play their best footy for the rest of the year.
Need to finish top 4 otherwise start planning for 2023

Mate the camp will inspire them to switch off and go on holiday mode.
