MYSTERY SURROUNDS BANNED AGENTS

THERE’S been a couple of false starts and all sorts of conspiracy theories doing the rounds about the returns of suspended player agents Isaac Moses and Gavin Orr.

The suspended pair was due to front the Agent Accreditation Scheme Board a couple of weeks ago only for the judge presiding over the matter to go down as a COVID close contact.

Then again on Tuesday this week the duo was all set to go and face the music to try and be reissued with official NRL agent accreditation passes only for the matter to once again be postponed.

We told you earlier this year it’s going to happen and we’re standing by the pair being re-admitted to the NRL in an official capacity as accredited agents.

It’s a balancing act scenario because as most clubs are aware Moses – who has one of the biggest stables of NRL players in the game – has still been conducting business as usual with the only catch being he can’t directly deal with NRL clubs.

That gets left to his cousin Stephen Moses – the brother of Parramatta halfback Mitchell Moses – who dot’s the I’s and crosses the T’s with the NRL clubs on playing contracts.

Moses and Orr have already submitted their applications and been through the orientation and exam process.

You’d hope he’d have some input as well as the board and MON, the only time you see this clown is when things are all rosy.

Surely someone can see it’s become almost untenable with Bea??? And the constant picking of his son is the cherry on top of this complete shit show.
Untenable? We could be in the top four by the end of the round.

Well everyone should listen to me. I never rated Barrett as a head coach. He is a great assistant coach. Period.

I rate Ciraldo, he is a head coach. How good a head coach, that is the question? I think a damn fine one, if Gould doesn't white ant him and actually gives him real support without the medalling.

At this point as far as what is left on the table for us, well at present I would take Flano. Not a terrible option, and at least he is a proven winner. Give him 2 years and reassess. If he can attract quality players and get us deep into the finals and or a GF birth then extend. But if our defense doesn't improve by light years under his coaching, then spear him no matter where we on the ladder or finals results we have.

Our priority 'one' right now is quality recruitment to fill the void that the departing players have left, and getting our defense right to the point of being in the top 3 of the competition. Whoever the coach is, if they can't do either, they will be a failed coach from a Parra perspective. Finals isn't our goal. Our goal is Premiership victories. Defense, recruitment and development are what will get us there. The new coach must be all over that and obviously more, but from where we are right now, those two areas need urgent addressing otherwise we will go backwards fast and then it will take a hell of a lot of other things to get us to this point again.
Excellent post

Yeah, I'd prefer to see how the season plays out before getting rid of BA. At least while the season is still 'live'.

If we lose the next 4 or 5 in a row or something and the season is a complete bust, then sure.

Ciraldo will do fine as long as Gus stays out of it and holds his nerve which he has proven he hasn't been able to do in the past.

So basically Ciraldo is screwed 3 years in if he hasn't got them super close to a premiership.

Dude we are 4th with a 11/6 season and bumped to 6th because of F&A. I’d like to be sitting 3rd, but things aren’t as dire as your posts suggest. Hopefully a win tonight will strengthen our run to getting a top 4 slot.

think we'll go on a run this year. We haven't peaked at all and BA seems to be confident that this is our best chance of winning a GF. I feel we're the only team that can beat Penrith this year. I'd love to see those pricks faces if we beat them in the GF it would be priceless.

I think that’s been the “plan” this year.
I just don’t think necessarily it’s been the correct “plan”.

Has anyone ever won the GF when coming 11th last with 7 rounds to go though?
