The 7th most points/tries in a mediocre competition despite being 3rd in possession, 2nd in completed sets, 2nd in post contact metres and 2nd in all metres run shows that we aren’t efficient at converting field position into points.

We are efficient, we’re just not as efficient as the teams that are full of stars. Which is why they’re stars.

We need to play to our strengths, which are yardage and kicking. We also need to avoid our weakness which is defence, and that means completing sets and forcing the opposition to make tackles.

The excuses are endless, peddle your bullshit elsewhere.

I think it’s a massive issue and eventually will be the straw that breaks the camels back. It’s surfaced twice this season and it’s not the kid’s fault it’s BA’s for putting him in this terrible position.

I actually feel for the kid which is why I’ve never put him on the shit list.

The standards of this club and coach are absolutely appalling, maybe a coach who isn’t as happy to allow players just being lazy merkins week after week might make a difference. Sivo is one of the laziest merkins I’ve ever seen in an Eels jersey and he’s straight back in ASAP. And a bloke like Oppa who gets dropped who has busted his arse in all his games in an Eels jersey.

Keep telling us all the players inadequacies while covering up time and time again for a cooked coach who has absolutely NFI.

On current form, yes, but since when are NRL contracts to the value of current form? They are always based on the ceiling of the player and their consistency which until this year has been high for Gutho.

We should get him and play him in right centre and push Blake on the wing. Having Penisini on the left would be so much better. He wouldn't have to rely on Brown and Gutho to give him the ball, he'd actually have a centre that can pass next to him.
