I reckon if we had Suaalii and Chooks had Penisini we'd be wishing we got the other one.
And in my opinion it's proved to be a poor decision for them.
When was the last time Penisini got any time and space?? His form has dipped but he’s being used poorly like most of our players.
And it can't be the players attitude either. Because they all have good attitudes. It's a matter of class mate. But have the dogs become more classy with the same players for no reason? Tongue in cheek I said let's get Potter for 2023. He certainly has the Bulldogs playing much more potent footy than Barrett did. And don't hold his time at the Tigers against him, he lost the personality battle with Robbie there and nobody has succeeded at that joint for 17 years, even a premiership winner like Maguire. You need quality players and luck no matter how good a coach you might be. I think that's the line you're always trotting out...
If I didn't think they made a difference I wouldn't care who the coach was, would I? But under Barrett they played seven games (from ten) against current top eight sides and beat the Cowboys and Roosters. Under Potter they have played only half their games (four from eight) against the top eight and beat the bottom two teams plus Parra. Barrett also got Manly into the finals. Potter has never coached in the finals. Our outside backs rarely get early ball. Flawed game plan. One out garbage. Teams know it well. Souths acknowledged it and we are too stupid to do something different.

You'll notice we didn't sign him from the Roosters or Souths. They will have better, more expensive people, probably with more staff under them.
As soon as it rains (heavy) our chances go out the window. We don't have the pace to match teams in wet...That's my interpretation of it anyway....and I'm sticking to it!!!!
