Why do you think Jesus became part of the story ffs
To die for us. Another sacrifice God decided to make on our behalf supposedly. Funny how everyone else needs to tow the line for Him and make sacrifices while He sits there and judges us for all our imperfections and sins that he himself and nobody else created in the first place.
Cool dude this God. Makes man flawed, then give him freedom of choice to exercise those flaws, while knowing to well that most if not all will fail and then He can sit there and judge us on our mistakes.
Top bloke. Me wants to follow this guy and I love him and respect him oh so much. He has my back all the time. How could I not love him. Really people are that desperate and need to believe in something that bad that they will follow a dictator type of spiritual overlord that sticks his nose into all our business, even our sex life or what foods we can eat or haircuts we have. Really?
I get spirituality and the feeling of something bigger then ourselves, but these Gods we humans have come up with are just over the top and silly in my opinion. Sure believe if you have to and I would never stop anyone from believing in whatever or whoever they want to, unless what they believe in is harmful or detrimental to others. You leave me alone and I leave you alone.
As for rainbow jerseys in football it's a bad idea because there are to many people that choose to be bigots and judge people negatively because their chosen religion allows them to. These sorts of things should not be in sports. But here we are. So now we can all get to pick a side and go Hell for leather. So I'm with the gays and I can't stand the hypocritical bigots selectively picking out peoples sex lives as such a negative thing that they would rather stand down from their paid profession then say you know what I love all people and if I can fornicate, gamble, eat food or drink what I'm not supposed to or divorce, get tattoos or whatever other bazillion things that the Good Book says I shouldn't do, then I can ignore what type of consensual sex other people might be into too.
Why is gay sex the only thing that these supposed devout religious people seem to have an issue with? I mean, Why are they playing in the NRL at all since the NRL is saturated in gambling adds and sponsors for example? If you are so religious isn't that a very offensive and concerning issue that your religious sensibilities should be tweaking big time over? I mean look at all the hardship and families and lives that gambling is ruining. Where's the stand against that? You know something that is actually destructive and hurting thousands every day? No not one player stands down over that.
So from that we can see how twisted they are and their sense of what is right and what is wrong in my opinion is upside down. People lose houses due to gambling, sweet no worries. People sleeping with the same sex, how terrible and I can't condone such sinful behaviour. I must show my objection and make a public stand and in all good consciousness I can't be part of such a unthinkable act.
Like I said, hiding behind religion to object to peoples sex lives is just cowardly, unless you stand against all the other stuff that you could easily say no to too that your religion condemns also. But they don't do that or else they wouldn't have a job. But gay sex is the big one, because if you aren't gay then you can get on your high horse and be a strong hypocrite against it in the name of your religion because it ain't you.
