But i do wonder would the nrl actually want to close it.

Player movement creates drama, intrigue and keeps the news cycle churning.

Now these situations about loaning players for 6-8 games creates more interest in the comp and how the players go during there short stints at other clubs.

BA didn't even give them a chance. It's not like Makatoa was demanding he stay in the side with his incisive runs or bruising defence.
Some players just need an opportunity just like Davey when he was at Parra. Again fortunate for him injuries gave BA no choice but not to pick him.
One of BAs biggest flaws. Not giving others a go unless injuries or suspension dictate he does so..

I was told by a mate that in the AFL trade period. The AFL makes the clubs hold off until the last day/hour before announcing trade deals to create suspense. Even though it goes for 10 days SFA is announced for 9 days and is just posturing.

They both got players playing NSW cup….Storm got knocked back every time they tried for a player playing NRL….

We are going a bit higher for starting NRL props….

Klemmer would be the perfect signing for the remainder of this year. I’m not sure about next year however when he had a $800k deal, unless Newcastle wanna Chuck in half.

To be fair, Davey had the same trajectory as Rodwell. They both pushed hard in reggies and were close to best on ground every week. Grieg has hardly done that.
