When is Xerri allowed to return ?
1st November this year
When is Xerri allowed to return ?
Where is that rule spelt out?We can’t get him for less, he has to be payed on what he was signed with by the Tigers or I doubt the NRL would allow it.
There's 2 strange things about that graphic.
Isn't signing a contract regulation enough? The only way this can happen is with the Tiger' blessing. It's very easy for them to tell him to 'f**k of, you can't can't f**k of'Where is that rule spelt out?
The NRL contract system is a joke. One might expect if he backflips, it is for similar money, but is there a rule that says the Eels have to take on the exact contract?
(For what it is worth, I think there SHOULD be more regulation about this stuff, just not aware that there actually is)

Yes - unless there is a clause of Nadge being coach. In which case they can't hold him to anything because they have already broken the contract.Isn't signing a contract regulation enough? Yeo and Jason??There's 2 strange things about that graphic.
Huge money to the right club. He’d be worth a lot more to us if we needed him to make 20+ carries every week. As it is he’s a bit of a luxury compared to how the Tigers would intend to use him.
You’d think so. I don’t know what I’m missing that there is open discussion of him not honouring his contract. Maybe @Barry O'Speedwagon is right and contracts really aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.Isn't signing a contract regulation enough? The only way this can happen is with the Tiger' blessing. We don't know what is in it.... something to do with th coach is a fair guess based on how it has played out???
If he walks away from the contract, then he needs to sign a new one.... all I'm suggesting is that it need not be identical to the one he walks away from (surely very similar $$ wise - but that is common sense, not a rule, right?)
And Blore.Dogs gain Mahoney and Kikau. They lose Vaughn and JMK. Two of their better players this season.
Who has the better spine?
Laurie vs Averilo
Douhei vs Burton
Hastings vs Flannagan
Korisau vs Mahoney
Dogs have a fair backline but it's far from elite bar JAC who is having an outstanding season.
The packs solid with KIKAU and TPJ. Who else?
Jackson's an old man. Sutton's just ok. Fariner Mariner is good but hardly a star.
Tigers with Papali'i and Stefano added to the pack will be pretty tough. Tigers need another forward and a quality back and will be a decent side
https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/i-...arthur-opens-up-on-abuse-20220808-p5b88w.htmlPapali’i was even more cryptic about whether he would honour his Tigers deal. While disappointed Tigers coach Michael Maguire had been axed, Papali’i said he would wait until season’s end to make a call, then spoke of his excitement at working with Tigers’ trio Tim Sheens, Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah.
$1,490?
I read somewhere that Moretti in on a Mormon Mission. Not sure how true it is.
Re Papa.
If Madge was involved in his signing saying he will do this and that, surely with Madge gone, Ice has grounds to withdraw regardless of contract specifics.
My head hurts
https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/pa...urns-back-on-tigers-deal-20220809-p5b8h0.htmlThere has been a fresh twist in the playing future of Isaiah Papali’i, with the Parramatta star considering requesting a release from his Wests Tigers deal to relocate back to New Zealand.
Papali’i has signed a $1.9 million, three-year deal to join the Tigers from next season, but there has been ongoing speculation that he doesn’t want to commit to it.
The Kiwi international had another opportunity to publicly state his intentions during an Eels media session on Monday, but remained coy.
Sources with knowledge of the situation have told the Herald that Papali’i is keen to return to his home city of Auckland for family reasons. The 23-year-old’s partner, netballer Elle Temu, lives in New Zealand and the pair have been separated during the footballer’s two-year stint with the blue and golds.
Papali’i has gone from a solid first-grader to a star since joining Parramatta and the Warriors would gratefully welcome him back if he was available.
Wowsers!!!Well, try this for size:
