I think they just make very bad decisions Poo and its been happening forever. They now have former StGeorge Premiership Winner Mr Marshal lined up so thats a definite hit or miss as well.
Left hand doesnt talk to the right hand.

Pretty much similar to how parramatta was run a decade ago.

Wests & Balmain sides don't get on.

I don't think the West tigers will ever be a serious contender unless they sever ties to all areas with the exception of the Macarthur region.
They need to give up on Leichhardt.

I hope they keep the status quo.

They are a rival to us and a bit of a sleeping giant due to such a large supporter base untapped if they had success.

The more they are down the bottom the better it is for Parramatta.

An example of this is one of my Dad's work mates is a Tigers fan but his son who was 8 or 9 years old at the time decided to support Parra instead about 2-3 years ago because they are local, the team isn't down the bottom of the table or a running joke like the tigers are despite no premierships in 36 years.

As hard as his dad tried he couldn't convince him to stay a tiger fan instead jumping on the blue and gold.

I like the way you think.
I don't think they will ever give up on their traditional areas.
I'm sure West Leagues club at Ashfield has the controlling interest in the NRL Licence as Balmain could not afford to pay its way.

Apparently the storm have upped the offer to Munster, around $1m per season. Of course it’s just journalists guessing but that would put the spine players on around $4m. Where are we going wrong with the cap management when we can’t keep the players we want and match bids from other clubs ie Papali and to a lessor extent Reed

You need to think about who ‘they’ are and then rethink your understanding of resources. It’s not just money, but money can improve most of the non-money stuff.

Who’s making the bad decisions and why can’t ‘they’ hire better decision makers? These are the resources you need to consider.

This a tabloid level analysis of what’s wrong with that club. The kind of shit the typical footy fan wants to think about because it’s easy to criticise.

TPA's help.

Melbourne have a whole city to themselves of corporate business to pick and get them to support an NRL Team.

This was from 2019 though the roosters are taking the Piss with this number but you see the discrepancy between Melbourne, Brisbane & the sydney clubs.

YOUR CLUB’S TPA FOR 2019

Melbourne Storm: $809,998
Brisbane Broncos: $349,852
Penrith Panthers: $233,333
Cronulla Sharks: $211,952
South Sydney Rabbitohs: $198,591
Newcastle Knights: $181,275
Manly Sea Eagles: $148,718
Wests Tigers: $132,458
St George Illawarra Dragons: $82,951
Parramatta Eels: $80,166
Sydney Roosters: $68,966
Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs: $59,680
Canberra Raiders: $45,333
New Zealand Warriors: $27,591
Gold Coast Titans: $18,153
North Queensland Cowboys: $15,667

The Storm are losing plenty of senior players. But Munster is better than any player at our club. Papenhuyzen, Hughes and Grant would all walk into our side as well. All probably cheaper than what we’d have to pay our spine to keep them.

This is the point. If the Storm can keep Munster for $400k less than the best offer it shows why they’re consistently so strong. We don’t have the same recruitment/retention advantages.

Would be good to see how it matched the premiership ladder that year. I can’t because I’m on the shitter.

Where would Hughes and Papenhuyzen play if they were to come into our side?
