there’s a few premature ejaculators on here who are getting quite excited with the “ I told you so.” Seem to be the same BA lovers who started to turn on BA but when we beat the table toping Bulldogs and Broncos they are back on the front loading train. Looks as though their erectile disfunction has been cured. Those handful of inbred gutted dogs need to show a bit of patience because coach Choke still hasn’t performed his yearly choke yet.

Yes we are top 4. It's a great effort.

Storm and Rooster have had injury plagued seasons. But we also had a rough trot the first 10 rounds.
Sharks have had an easy draw.

Injuries are pulling up again for the chooks. Manu, Toupo,Radley, JWH. Unless they are back their season is probably done. They are a top 4 side if fit.

Storm had a disaster season with injuries. If they are if fit they 2nd best side in comp.

So what happens now? I feel we need to take our chance. There isn't to many sides firing like us at the moment. Gutherson to my suprise has been rejuvenated. He looked dusted. Mahoney has played better also. We just need Waqa to find form and N.Brown fit.

Finals is a different beast all together. I feel Thuraday nights game was close to a finals match but at end of day it still wasn't do or die.

Our best chance will be if the Roosters beat Souths and we do the Panthers. We would then face either Sharks/Cowboys/Roosters - With injury concerns.

The idea of losing and facing Storm doesn't sit well with me. I feel it would be another 2 and out.
And as you said we haven't done a whole lot yet. I'm unsure if my lack of confidence is based on year of pain and failure being an eels supporter rather then using my footy smarts.

To add to the Roosters woes, Michael Carayanis on ABC Grandstand reckons Joey Manu could be gone for the season with that calf injury.... Huge loss if that's the case...

And honestly, not being up every week is a shit attitude to have, and a definite weakness in our team. But I don’t think replacing the coach is doing to fix it. That sort of leadership only comes from the leadership group, and we are lacking in that area. Dale Finucane has always been a massive plodder, but he is the type of personality we need in our team.

I was happy over the win against the Storm and that because we beat 2 plodder teams the week before. So beating a quality Melbourne was a great win even though they were missing Hughes.

But I’ll never feel confident whilst we have BA as coach. He’s had 9 years and achieved nothing. We’ve gone to too many finals under him and choked. Only thing that will restore my confidence in him is a Premiership. Then egg on my face and give him a 5 year deal.

But if no premiership this year, then he needs to be f**king sacked. He’s been given more chances than any coach in NRL history. He’s failed too many times for me to have any trust in him at all. That’s a fact. he’s got a full squad with no injuries. There can be no more excuses.
