About a decade ago the Raiders did the same thing. For years they would follow a top eight season with missing the finals. Kind of weird. I’d say it just meant they were a genuinely mid-table club with random variation on the ladder forming a perfect pattern. So to you humans it might look interesting but statistically it is irrelevant, and doesn’t require the imposition of any narrative.

I believe we'll win because we have the team to do it, but BA HAS to use 16-17 players not 15 and put players on the bench who provide impact and not safety!!! Nathan Brown (if fit or Rodwell perhaps if not) provides impact and Cartwright provides flexibility.

And ja provides fear into the opposition

Oh ok. So the team is good enough to beat melb and Penrith twice in the regular season, but mysteriously become not good enough to win a semi?
Big clubs are less likely to take us lightly in a finals match.
Much like our semi final record. We magically turn to shit in September.
I only remember one poor finals performance under Brad Arthur.
Btw the coach has never made monumental f^*k ups, has he?
Bellamy lost a grand final 40-0 ffs, while his team was massively cheating the cap. It doesn’t mean he made a “monumental f**k up”. Sometimes shit just goes wrong and a team gets belted. Even the best coaches don’t see it coming.

Manly nearly ended their season that day!

Apparently they are looking at Steve Hales as a potentially replacement, has supporters within the club
Who is Steve hales never heard of him.

Manly have struggled when they haven't had a Manly person or someone with Manly DNA coach them.

Peter Sharp, Trent Barrett come to mind this century.

Hopefully they rot down the bottom half for the next 5-6 years

ROOSTERS CROWING AT NEW STADIUM
There’s no questioning the power and influence of billionaire Sydney Roosters chairman Nick Politis. Just ask the Parramatta Eels.
When Bankwest Stadium was originally opened in 2019, the Eels wanted their own logo and signage on the outside of the venue.
The request was rejected by the state government because the stadium was to be shared with other NRL clubs and the Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League.
The same state government had no issues with Politis and the Roosters at the new Allianz Stadium. There is now a huge ‘Home of the Sydney Roosters’ sign on the Moore Park Rd end of the ground.
And while the Eels were told they had to share their stadium with other clubs, the same government has made it clear the South Sydney Rabbitohs are not welcome.
Parramatta has been monitoring the situation closely.
The Eels will now seek a meeting with sports Minister Alister Henskens to ask for the same as what the Roosters got. And how could they possibly say no?
