I think you can say that COVID impacted both Bateman and Williams, those issues should now be alleviated somewhat.

Whoever he is would be unlikely to be ready for NRL next season. Bateman for 2 years would probably see him through in Australia.

Wouldn't mind Bateman for 2 years or so whilst Mataele becomes a first grader. He'd suit our style of second-rowers, runs a good line, aggressive, can ball-play and is/was an 80 minute player. He was a handy defender too from memory.

Fast becoming one of the least likeable players in the game IMO. Has a massive chip on his shoulder. Carries on like everyone's best mate when there's a camera or microphone shoved in his face, but dishes out plenty of cheap shots and dirt on the field.

Exactly he wasn't booed because of his race on Friday night. He is an ex rooster and he broke Manu's jaw.

It was the first game he has played against the roosters since smashing Manu's jaw.

If that happened to a parra player we would booing him as well.

Latrell needs to work out if he wants to be a choc mundine and talk big or be a Teddy or Paps etc and let the footy do the talking. Cos you can’t talk it up and then whinge when you become the villain.
