But he couldn’t crack a start in a team in the bottom 4 when they were struggling for forwards. As they say , we need to do better.
Jorah Mormont won’t be any more than a backup. You need some of these in your squad, but it’s not even a little bit exciting.

Yet he did impress me. The issue is nobody impressed BA enough to stop flogging Reg and Jnr.

Maybe I expected him to be better than last season. I really don't see much in our reserve players.

No he floggs them because they are on big coin and they are excepted to play big minutes. BAs words.

Well that might be his most ridiculous statement yet in that case.... "Let's sign Haas and Tapine, the 2 best props in the game for 1.3 million each and play them 80 minutes each cause they're costing so much".... FFS, this bloke is fast running out of a clue. Good thing we've still got him on the books for next year!!

Does anyone else love Merril Bainbridge's song 'Under the Water'?
I usually hate girly music, but this gets multiple plays every time I am on the soup and I crank it up.
It would be my answer to question 'what is your guilty pleasure?'

I hear we may be punting Greig to accomodate him in the 17 so who knows.
That’s crap….sure you haven’t made that up ?

Greig isn’t anywhere near our top 17 even with the Newcastle dude here…Ogden, Cartwright, Rodwell, Elie, Nrown have all been picked in our 21 men squad pretty much all year in front of him…

so no idea how a NSW cup player gets punted so a recruit can play NRL….

BTW did your source tell you, his potential destination may be the titans…..

You can see why at the time. If this bloke was 1/4 as capable as Lodge he would've at least played more NRL at 24.
Not sure of his exact history but I believe he was highly rated by the storm, but knights somehow managed to sign him (they also signed Toni M from us 2 or so years ago ), I think BA was interested in him at the time. However unfortunately his time at the knights was affected by injuries.., happy to be corrected..

Looking at his history looks like covid affected him 2020 as was unable to play, did his Achilles late 2020, come back mid 2021, then covid again…

basically 2 years wiped from his development…

BTW not suggesting he is going to be top 17, but does have some potential

You'd still have to worry about why he couldn't get a run at the Knights at some stage this year, who have ultimately been woeful all season.

You really need to do some research…..

he did play NRL this year but dislocated his elbow

he didn’t come back until late May:

In the meantime he signed with us (obviously negotiating while injured)

So there was no benefit for the knights to use unless desperate…

I'll leave you to get excited.

I want to see superior players to this for next season for me to get excited about next season.

If I was paying a forward that much you better believe he's playing 80 minutes. Isaah Yeo regularly plays 80 minutes. In fact these blokes are all making more runs per game than Paulo or RCG this year:

Matterson
Tapine
Haas
Fa'asuamaleaui
Carrigan
Fisher-Harris
Yeo
Klemmer
Murray

I don't get the obsession with making them less involved. Paulo might be the only player in the NRL who gets two rest periods plus the half time break. He can handle it.
