The fullback has less distance to cover. That's why they stand behind the defensive line, so they don't need to be faster than every opposition player.

Switch Guth to 6.

Dyl has urgency in defence and I reckon his running game will be like Manu's at FB. It could be the X-Factor we need.

Guth is getting slower and I reckon he could do ok at 6. Also Guth will make an excellent backup FB when he is playing in the halves if required

Manly couldn’t keep both their young halves back in 2015. Souths couldn’t keep both Reynolds and Keary. The Storm continually lost Cronk’s halves partners to more desperate clubs.
