Warriors forward Ben Murdoch-Masila has been granted a release to continue his career with another NRL club, yet to be announced.

The 31-year-old Mate Ma’a Tonga international was approaching the final year of his contract, the third year of his deal since joining the club from the Super League in 2021, however the Warriors announced his early release on Tuesday.

Must be a different game to you then, I’ve seen him in complete sets of six in the opposition 20m not even touch the ball once. One game it looked like he was trying to get out of the way as much as possible. And then you have his defence, it’s putrid.
