Rumours and Stuff

Unless Jake has been learning dummy half, I'm going to take BA at his word that Jake will rack up the minutes in reggies, unless there's a midweek injury to the first grade halves.

We don't have an 80min Mahoney to work to the bone, but a fragile older Hodgson he'll have to preserve.

I’d be surprised to see him in fg. And disappointed

Mitch Moses is taking his time signing with us, because he's finishing up his commitments with the Australian Men's Cricket team.

Being a great trainer and kid is all well and good. But doesn't guarantee success at first grade. I am sure there are plenty of young kids out there who train just as hard as Jake but don't have connections to help break through to the top grade.

Outside of a grubber kick behind the line that comes off once every every now and then. I have seen nothing to suggest Jake will be anything special.

He still looks like he is playing at a Ron Massey cup speed in first grade. Slow and labourours in everything he does.

I blame his father who should never have put him in this situation.

If you read TCT, he is killing it on the runs etc. and is commented alot on his passes etc.

BA will rewards these pre-season efforts

It will be interesting what will happen to JA when BA eventually leaves.

But then, it was reported he had 8 clubs after him

who released the info he was chased by 8 clubs?

anyway, if true they could of been chasing him for nsw cup or lower. It wasn’t necessarily to play fg.

Most NRL players aren't anything special. But they are also mostly older than Jake Arthur. That's because rugby league players improve with age, up to a point that is a fair bit older than 21. He was eligible for Flegg this year.

You're kidding. He had 20 TAs in 23 games in reserve grade while still eligible for Jersey Flegg ffs. He's earnt his NRL opportunity.
