I moved house half way through last season and didn't bother getting Foxtel put on at the new place... Haven't missed it all to be honest. Only time I missed it was when Parra were playing.... given we were no chance of playing finals by the time I moved, it probably made the transition a bit easer...

When season 2017 rolls around, I can't see myself signing up to Fox just for NRL - think I'll get the NRL Digital pass

Thats what ive used for the last few years, watch it on my laptop & zoom in so its full screen. (You can hook your laptop up to a tv if you wanna go through the hassle). Its cheap & you can un-subscribe during the offseason.

That & a Roku & youre sorted.

I'd definitely miss it...FTA is total garbage. At least "trash tv" on Fox is comedies that are worthwhile, docos, somewhat interesting series, less popular sports, movies and so on. I can almost always find something worth watching. FTA is a joke.

Couldn't agree more. I watch The Family Guy and Seinfeld each day. A movie or two and all sport. Plus I am a MotoGp and World Superbikes fan as well as the V8's so its a must for me.

I know. I always watch an episode of seinfeld, for about the 20th t8me. It never grows old. I have em all on dvd but i would never bother putting a dvd in ... it just seems different to watch em when they are on 111

All 9 seasons of Seinfeld are on Stan now.

FTA is mostly garbage, but it's free, there's a handful of decent shows that are more convenient/cheaper with FTA, plus anytime it's not worthwhile I can turn it off no qualms

Foxtel is f**king expensive and the decent shows to garbage ratio is even worse than FTA because of the 90 million channels, basically I would be paying for some sport (a lot of which I wouldn't get to watch live anyway), GoT & TWD, a lot of which I can get elsewhere & for a heck of a lot cheaper.

Foxtel plain and simple need to reevaluate their channels, packaging & prices. Especially when NBN actually becomes a thing then streaming services will hose them
