I've had serious leg injuries that made me laugh more than Seinfeld ever could....

FTA is mostly garbage, but it's free, there's a handful of decent shows that are more convenient/cheaper with FTA, plus anytime it's not worthwhile I can turn it off no qualms

Foxtel is f**king expensive and the decent shows to garbage ratio is even worse than FTA because of the 90 million channels, basically I would be paying for some sport (a lot of which I wouldn't get to watch live anyway), GoT & TWD, a lot of which I can get elsewhere & for a heck of a lot cheaper.

Foxtel plain and simple need to reevaluate their channels, packaging & prices. Especially when NBN actually becomes a thing then streaming services will hose them

I think Foxtels relative value depends what you watch, too. I can spend a whole day doing nothing but watching docos (eg it's currently Shark Week which is awesome), plus comedy and the sheer volume of cricket, rugby, etc available and I reckon it's good value. But for people who don't watch that sort of stuff, yeah it's probably not the best.

I have access to Netflix, I think I've probably used it about four times in total. If there's a show I really want to watch, I'll download it tbh.

Even if in reality it cost me a bit more, I'd be content with the convenience.
At the moment across a whole year, I'd have Netflix, NRL, MLB & NBA passes, FTA and other "sources" for other shows. That tends to a lot of forced binge watching

I know atleast 5-6 people who rate it as the best ever sitcom - I sure do. Frasier was good to. I guess it depends if you can relate to the stories.

I'm like that with the Simpsons and South Park.

South Park is my most favourite show of all time. Archer is also very good.

Yeah South Park is another one, absolutely love it. And unlike a lot of long running shows (ie The Simpsons) it's actually getting funnier as it goes on IMO

Number one in my humble opinion with Fawlty Towers a close second. If you cant laugh at either of these shows there is something seriously wrong with your sense of humour.
