Yeah South Park is another one, absolutely love it. And unlike a lot of long running shows (ie The Simpsons) it's actually getting funnier as it goes on IMO

Agreed on South Park, I watchd a few of the earlier episodes a while back and cringed. They just keep raising the bar.

To compare sth prk or married with children with seinfeld is silly. They realy on same cheap jokes over and over again. I find them funny but its so many level beneath.

As much as i wasnt a huge fan of friends it was well written and funny. Your malcom in the middles, 70s show everyone loves raymond, big bang , 2 and half men all have moments. But you can not compare to the 3 mentioned

Ummm no, South Park isn't even close to the same
Show it was when it started. As Baz said these days it's all Satire and some of the best ever. Some of the shows you have names in that list are as funny as Aids.

Imo, "Frasier" is one of the funniest shows I've seen.

Brilliantly acted, great jokes - several with multiple layers -, and very clever.

And I agree with hiney and Baz - "South Park" is brilliant, and has gotten better with every season.

Another one of my faves is "American Dad!".

I find them all funny- Even 2 broke girls.
But Seinfeld - Frasier IMO another level. South park and the simpsons jokes can be deep and have a political meaning. That I guess is good if you like that.

Some episodes do, but many episodes use sublime satire for their comedy.

I think "South Park" is extremely clever.

This new garbage (anything post season 14 or so) is awful, imo.

It used to be so clever and funny; now, they simply rehash the same old, tired gags over and over.

Frasier is great. Really enjoyed Becker too.

Simpson's ran out of ideas in 2006 and has rehashed shit every since..

I love the first 12 or 14 seasons - classic moments, with great quotes!

This new formula they have been using is awful.

Same goes for "Futurama" imo.

It's a shame - both shows were once so great.

Yeah I wouldn't pay to watch docos, music tv, reruns or kids shows, but organising a package to get the channels you do want means getting all the other crap with it. In effect if I could go to Foxtel and just say I want this channel, this channel, etc and none of the other garbage, I'd be tempted, but they don't allow that

You're not actually paying for those channels anyway. If anything they're subsidising the channels you do want.
