I think what he meant was the English league is more amenable to players moving while under contract. Negotiations would still need to occur between parties obviously
You mean they go to a party and then, like, they go to another one, and on the way to the second party (maybe in the back of a taxi) they negotiate a deal?
I suppose that would work.

I didn't say that, but the English sporting system is a lot different, with virtually every player available for purchase at the right price to their contracted club.

It is illegal in this country (not sure about the UK) to approach any person in any occupation and encourage them to breach their contract. It is not often enforced though, by any stakeholders, as most organisations would rather a disgruntled employee just f**ked off.

Fair enough. IT is illegal to knowingly attempt to induce another to breach a contract in the UK as well as here. The contentious bit of your OP was the statement 'you can sign players who are under contract'....You can only do that under the same circumstances as you can here....you first negotiate a release from that contract....you've just got another tool in the shed to negotiate that release.

While transfer fees are paid in the SL, the market is nowhere near as active as that of the EPL etc. The other big difference with the SL is that while they have a smaller salary cap....the marquee players only cost 150k for the purpose of the cap, regardless of what you pay them.....and that does encourage transfer fees for those players (e.g. Brodie Croft at the moment).

When Super LEague players go to party, they hook up with one of their mates' wives, go out to a laneway and rather than consumate their affection in the traditional manner decide to provide bidet services to the lady. It's all on Youtube at the moment. There's a twitter video of a whole crowd singing 'It you can't **** a woman, lick her ar#e' at the gentleman in question.

The halfback has been contemplating his future since he became a free agent on November 1, meeting with the Tigers and Bulldogs as he weighed up whether to remain at Parramatta.
Canterbury pulled out of the race a fortnight ago, leaving Parramatta in a battle with Moses’ old club for his services.

Moses, 28, has an option in his contract with Parramatta for 2024 that he has until April 1 to trigger. Instead, Moses will sign an upgrade and extension deal that will likely see him finish his career in the blue and gold.
Sources with knowledge of the negotiations speaking under the condition of anonymity due to the confidential nature of the deal told the Herald that Moses stands to earn around $1.25m a season over the course of the new contract.
The Tigers were willing to go in excess of $1.3m to bring Moses back to the club he debuted for but Moses has decided he has unfinished business at the Eels.
The halfback led Parramatta to its first grand final since 2009 last year, falling short in a one-sided affair against the Penrith Panthers at Accor Stadium.
