I provided evidence of a game where they were never off the field at the same time. You are just being a childish pedant and playing word games now. Of course they were off at the same time in other games (I gave the example of the grand final). The point is they don't have to be, and Arthur knows it. So when they are off at the same time it was either dictated by the game (e.g. both gassed after trying to get on top of Penrith in the grand final) or it doesn't matter (e.g. up by 16 vs Titans in round one). In round 15 last year they were only off the field (together) for five minutes in the first half and we outscored the Roosters 4-0 in that period.

Of course they are better (and more expensive) than any combination of our bench middles, and of course we aren't as good with them off the field. It's a nothing statement. Like how Andrew Johns thinks we might struggle if Moses gets a long term injury. Insightful, deep analysis.

The per-season amount isn't the big deal here, it's the extra year. I'm sure we could get him cheaper per-year if we offered him five years instead of four. But that last year is a massive risk. Even the fourth year is a risk. Do we want to take the risk of Moses on $1M+ at age 35, or let the Tigers take it?

A club option is worth less to the player than guaranteed free agency. A player option for a 35 year old is essentially no different for the club than just giving him the extra year. Maybe that mutual option that Hodgson has is the go for older players?

Moses is 28, birthday in September (Tigers dont play much footy in September). Moses would be 33 in the fifth year of a Tigers 5 year deal. Sounds about right to me.

Well playing at the Tigers his season is likely to be 4-5 weeks shorter than 8/17 of the clubs, so over 5 years thats a full season less wear and tear. Sheens is playing 4D chess.
