Where was Moses in our first semi final or grand final? Nathan gave him a bath. That what a 1.2mill half looks like.

Your forwards have to fire for ANY halfback to dominate. The forwards failed in both matches so hopefully they learned from those matches and improve. Hopefully this year our defence improves, still looked same as last year with some of the tries Knights scored, and our attack becomes even more potent with Hodgson. The first match will tell us a few things about our A & D.

What? You don't think our grand final appearance was embarrasing? Biggest game of the year and it was over after 10mins. As a neutral spectator is was a shit grand final. As an EELS FAN it was a shit house display.

I disagree. Any halfback with 100+ games can do it. It's the running, playmaking and defence that separates the good ones from the rest.

Moses is good. But when you pay 1.25 you have to weaken his weapons. If you snagged a Brooks he may not be as good a play maker but he gets more explosive weapons as have more to spend.
So Moses would need to be perfect with execution to create breaks and tries as his weapons can't create much on their own while Brooks mak only have to put his weapons into half chances and they will more often then not turn it into something and make him look good.

moses is our best half in 30 years and there is no one within a mile of his value and skill within our squad, system or available on the market

without Moses we don’t make the GF. He sacrificed being present the birth of his child to take us to a grand final

he’s in the top 3 halves in the comp, he’s a quality goalkicker and he’s the best option

anymore willing to let Moses go over $200k on a $13m cap is stupid

I’d be tossing a coin whether I’d rather Brooks or Jake Arthur at 7.

I'd almost say 7mins. The way they where rolling over us as soon as Crighton scores we where done. Never at one point did we look in that game. We got ragdolled badly. Unsure what game you watched.

I'm speaking in facts and truth and leaving emotions behind. That's what you need to bring success. Tough love.

I am emotional watching my team play. Being emotional when it comes to players and recruitment will leave you in a mess. Remember when we had to watch Hindmarsh in his last few years and Cayless? That was our club being emotional.

Watch the Rooster cull Toupo who has been one of their most loyal players and still playing at origin level. They are ruthless but also successfull.

Is Gutherson top 5 fullback? Maybe he is with Papenhauzen gone and Ponga moved to Halves.

I posted my thoughts on this years squad vs last years and overall this years come out ahead which I wasn't expecting untill I directed players outputs and what we've gained.

I expect a much better output from Penisini and Waqa

In 2022 he was far better in this area but I still saw games when we where behind and how he drifted away from our game plan.

Anyone can stick to the game plan when your winning ffs.

We could have easily wrapped up Nikure and Papalli with Brown's dollars. It was gross mismanagement signing brown to a long contract. We knew he looked busted every time he played the ball

Nikure wanted to go home to NZ and Ice could have stayed if he didn't rush into signing a contract at the worst run club in the NRL.

Too often? I reckon he might have done it twice last year at the most. He's one of the best halves in the comp (top 4) at executing the game plan.

He was in great form when he re-signed. He got injured almost immediately afterwards.
