And didn't try and force a pass that wasn't on.Bryce was very strong - I hope he's played himself into the 17. I like the guy.
I was impressed by how tough he played - ran hard, and tackled hard.

Shut up…that’s my thoughtsor 1 from 4, 2 from 4 3 from 4.........take the pessimistic road, it's the easiest..
Yep, that’s all he has to do. Run hard, tackle hard and offload sparingly. If he can do that he will be a great addition to the bench. And didn't try and force a pass that wasn't on.
You don't have to be too good to make our 17 this year. It falls away pretty quickly from that starting 13 tonight with only Lane, Matterson, Brown to come in.Bryce was very strong - I hope he's played himself into the 17. I like the guy.

That was us last nite after the 60th minute. Shades of 2018 where we were not fit. Storm beat us on fitness last nite and not because of their personnal.
Bryce is in his 10th year of first grade with 142 games played. You don't have to be too good to make our 17 this year. It falls away pretty quickly from that starting 13 tonight with only Lane, Matterson, Brown to come in.
What I can say is we desperately need much much better middles for when our starters go off because we lose so much momentum. Yes above impressed me except Greig and Brown was extremely poor. Most of the interchange players were poor imo and gave away stupid penalties and provided little impact.Considering how bad our halves where we went ok. They can't play that bad ever again.
Doorey, Bryce,Hopgood,Grieg all impressed me.
*grappledThey are the Melbourne Storm ffs. They defended well.
And continually lay on players or are all over the ball, even when refs calls 'release', and never get penalised. What the f**kin hell!*grappled
I'm glad you said that. It reminded me of a game vs STG last year when they just laid all over us and slowed the game down to a walk. The ref let them get away with it, save the odd 6 again. And continually lay on players or are all over the ball, even when refs calls 'release', and never get penalised. What the f**kin hell!

And his name sounds like a new pillow brand. They Used Merchi as a middle last night and he was not good at all..
I have no issue with Cartwright, I thought he should've been in the 17 last year.Bryce is in his 10th year of first grade with 142 games played.
If he can run hard and straight, make his tackles and reduce his brain explosions, then he has the skills to make a difference at the end back-end of a close game.
Or get tangled "accidentally ".......every f**king tackleAnd continually lay on players or are all over the ball, even when refs calls 'release', and never get penalised. What the f**kin hell!
I would love someone to actually raise this question.Or get tangled "accidentally ".......every f**king tackle
We just lost a fifty-fifty game against one of the strongest clubs in the NRL. If the rest of our first four games are also coin flips we should win two of them. Theoretically, one and a half.Gees, dude - chill!
It's round 1, and you're talking about 0 and 4.
The Sharks do have strong defence as well. Most halves look clunky against such teams. The proof will come out next week against the sharks. Id be putting the house on them. Our halves were b grade and attack clunky
There was a story that he got an infection in his arm from a holiday, this has probably contributed to his slow start. I'm not sure he has trained much. It’s easy to dominate against Newcastle and the Tigers. When was the last time he did it against the top 4 teams and consistently?
Serious question.
And Brown is a notorious slow starter. Whatever he is doing socially in the off season has to change.
