I think some of the blame needs to be borne by pants pissing fans over every slight imperfection which meant wins were/are the only treatment for weak bladders. That means more game time for the better players, not fringe first graders. Not a fan of BAs bench usage. I reckon it tires the top guns unnecessarily and by not developing lesser players it creates a cycle that can never change except if high profile purchases are made which usually isnt possible. Does the continual ignoring of Greig, Rodwell, Ogden etc create motivation issues for same?
Yes he got us to a GF and definitely deserves support for same but I pose a question re the question you posed.
Were our forwards flat in the GF because they were over used? Or.
Were they flat as a result of the conditions V The Cows the previous week. Or.
Is it possible that both contributed?
Fingers crossed we manage to avoid injuries as we did in 2022.
Its just so f'n exciting.
If you can’t find adequate props to cover our two if they go down or are replaced then you have to find some big wingers to lessen the load. Ours are either too small or lazy.
This is another reason why we need to reinstate Nathan Brown because when fit he can at least do a job for us in this department.
.... could also run off the back fence in reggies, own their own destiny and rip new arse holes every f**king week. This is a professional sport and the difference between being a plodder and merkins like Barlow, JFH, Cam Murray and Bumcrack Hindmarsh is that they just get back up and go again and again and again.Greig, Rodwell, Ogden
Nrown is what’s wrong with this forum. Right up till he was shitlisted by BA, he was the “handbrake”. 2 weeks later, he’s a must pick. This is another reason why we need to reinstate Nathan Brown because when fit he can at least do a job for us in this department.
I saw Emu do this many times last season. Im glad hes finally got his shot. Hopefully he gets future shots and more than 13 minutes. Definitely agree with Ogden. Ive seen little to get excited about there even before his contract was extended. Rodwell is a strange one. He looked the goods early but has fallen off a cliff. Maybe a mental issue with him. Surely hes fit enough..... could also run off the back fence in reggies, own their own destiny and rip new arse holes every f**king week. As our mate from the second roe was told on Friday night by the biggest pest in the NRL...
“Because you weren’t leading (expletive),” Luai replies.
“You said you couldn’t make it because you were too tired.”
“That one time I couldn’t make it,” Salmon adds.

Call it match fitness, experience, being a dumb jock, mental fitness or whatever, most fitness adjacent sports need it and it’s near impossible to train for, monitor, rate or apply consistently..... could also run off the back fence in reggies, own their own destiny and rip new arse holes every f**king week. Signing him at the time was fine except maybe for little more than I thought. If the rumours are true about why he was bumped though, which was well after he resigned, then that’s the buggest f**k up and it put us in way worse position than just overpaying him.He is our BUGGEST PROBLEM. Imagine having no N.Brown and 550k spare. We could have a min wage player replace him on 150k and have two of our bench forwards of lets say Makatoa whod be on 150k and Murchie on 250k upgraded to 2x 400k forwards. Imagine the quality on the bench. His signing was a f**k up unfortunately and its happened during our premiership window which sucks.
As for now N.Brown may be able to offer something off the bench. What we currently have isn't great.

I’d give it 20 minutes before someone called him handbrakeYes at the time he was going well. I noticed a bit of a decline but still wanted him signed and 450k-500k I would have thought was fine. He still is better then anyone on the bench.
He’s a handbrake when everyone is available. Now he is needed and is the saviour when it comes to our poor bench due to injury/suspension.Nrown is what’s wrong with this forum. Right up till he was shitlisted by BA, he was the “handbrake”. 2 weeks later, he’s a must pick.

To play prop?At his peak he would still be in our top 5 forwards. Can he turn back the clock? I doubt it but it isn't impossible. He would be playing for a contract. He just turned 30 so capable of 2 more years.
I think the rumours where something about JA yeah? I think once fit he is in side. Just like the grand final.
