It's been such a build up, maybe behind closed doors he'll use his extension to sign his extension... and I'm not talking an ink signature! :eggplant:💦

Trouble is, rugby league being rugby league he'd probably have 16 teammates standing in a queue behind him, ready to take turns doing the same...

All we had to do with Moses is be firm.

1.1 for 4yrs. We can stay competitive and build a good roster. You want more then we can give you that but it means a weaker roster. Less chance of success. If we are strong then your job is easier and you will look better. That means at 32 you should be able to land another 2yr deal.

Go to the Tigers and pay you 1.3 you will have a weaker roster and the last 5yrs of your career will be spent getting flogged. So it is your choice. Less money and be fighting to play finals every year with a strong squad. More money and a weaker roster means higher chance of fighting it out for the wooden spoon.

Your choice and if want the money that's totally fine. Good bye.

After his performance last week, the Tigers can take Moses, tbh.

FMD. Poor guy.

If I was the club, I'd be making enquiries about the link between his current injury, and last year's rib injury; who is to say that the knees in the back didn't contribute to Sean's shoulder injury?

If that is established, then I'd go for blood - how that grubby fullback wasn't suspended is beyond me...

The shoulder injury happened during the week. Has nothing to do with the rib / lung injury a year ago.

That is absolutely fu*ked. I thought Captains Runs were a light no contact affair. Too much chasing the collision at Captains Runs. I really feel for the guy.
It was more likely one of those spectacular winger dives, but yeah - that's two years in a row.

Does that mean that Lumelume gets a Top 30 spot <shudders> ?

Common sense hopefully prevails...

It was very greedy of his manager (and therefore careless of Moses who instructs his manager) not to ensure the deal was done and announced before Round 1 given Mitchell had publically indicated/instructed it should be.

It was naive of Mitchell to believe it wouldn't affect the team, and hopefully the presser questions shook him a little and will get this announced before tonight's game - and he and everyone can get on with winning some footy!

Careless and naive. Im sure thats it and no other explanation for it. Its not as if the bloke has form for this sort of thing before.....

He played quite a lot of NSW CUP last year. I doubt it has anything to do with it. Shame for him regardless.
He was set for a break out year. A real shame last year with Haze also as 2022 could of been the year he established himself as a genuine NRL player.

Worse thing for both is other players leap frogged you fast when you have yet to establish yourself. I expect us to sign a back in the next few weeks. I doubt we want to rely on Lumelume

We should get dispensation for Russell and Cini should be next man up. Lumelume can take his development deal and be available after rnd 10.

I’d be trying to sign Jake Averillo.

I reckon right now Russel maybe stuck ahead or Simmonson but it's close. Must be a very bad shoulder injury to be out for the season.
On a possitve he gets a whole season to bulk up. Next year will be interesting. Komolafe if is going to be ready will be and Cody Parry might be a smoke as well.

Is NSW CUP televised in any way?
