We are back to 3rd, the Sharks have now the second biggest nursery in NSW.

We had 28 junior clubs in 2021 - more than Penrith.

Penrith had 8000+ players and we had 6000+.

these were the top two, followed by Cronulla from memory

This was in accordance with the audit and review of the junior league that was presented to the junior clubs by MON and Sarantinos last year.

I don't mind rough cut diamonds, if they scratch an itch we have - and in that regard, we signed Hodgson to replace Mahoney, and a few other smokies.

But I think we needed to invest our resources in strengthening our bench - Moimoiseah is a park footballer, at best, Murchie is struggling in the middle...

Murchie will be fine when he’s sharing the middle with Matterson.

Have you considered that perhaps you’re wrong and they aren’t failings? And that when we lose, confirmation bias leads you to think the loss was due to those decisions?

I have at times actually considered that maybe it was just a quirk of circumstances.

But that was only the first few times when these failings manifested - by the time the instances reached double digits I personally concluded that Brad's coaching style is inherently flawed.

Have you also considered that Brad may actually have a flaw in his coaching style and may not be beyond reproach or criticism by virtue of his status as coach.

Not all authority figures are infallible - people are allowed to analyse and criticise, it's part of living in a pluralist society

I think Penisini is a gun, but we aren't using him correctly; ten years at the helm, and BA still can't coach a team to give their centres good, clean, early ball.

The opposition have a bit to say about whether you can just give early ball to merkins out wide. You generally need to get them on the back foot first.

What are your thoughts on Hasler.

Is he still employable.

I def reckon he’s still employable. Even last year Manly were in the 8 until rainbow gate and that was without Tommy. I reckon he’d love to get his hands on our team.

It's probably something that we're also very sporadic at.

I've no doubt we will turn our fortunes around, once Lane, and Matterson, are back.
