The worst thing about bushy for me, is his effort on effort, chasing the collision, high possession, grinding style. It is just so boring.

I honestly don't care anymore if we ever win a premiership. I've all just given up, but at least I want some excitement watching my team every week, win lose or draw, playing some exciting footy....

I am so envious watching other teams games and witnessing incredible end to end action and pure classy teams

And just when you think it's gonna be over soon, these idiots decide to extend him....unbelievable

Have you watched the Tigers play? Against Melbourne especially we played very attacking football. Defence is the problem as has been for some time.

for 6 years all I’ve heard is who’s a worthy replacement.

Bennett has been available twice since then.

Payton has proved he’s an asset as a HC

Fitzgibbon has been good for the sharks.

there would be others but I can’t be bothered.
This deserves more than a like - this is an outstanding post.

Plus:

Hasler (maybe twice)

Flanagan

And Ciraldo (jury still out)

Everyone that has ever said "but there's no one better available" has been pulling cones.

Lol Bea must have some incriminating photos of the board that’s all I can say.

I mean if he can’t win us a premiership after over a decade how can will he did it in another season??? I reckon we are now further away than we have been in a long time.
Cleary didn’t win his first premiership for 15 years. It takes some luck. Obviously requires less luck at a strong club. Ricky Stuart won a premiership at Easts, lost a grand final with Canberra, and won a spoon with Parra. It’s all relative. Maguire and Cleary won premierships with Souths/Penrith but couldn’t get the Tigers into the finals. I don’t know when it’s ever going to sink in for you. Coaches depend on resources and luck. There’s no magical formula where the team gets progressively better to win the inevitable premiership. Bennett won with Brisbane and St George but couldn’t with Newcastle and Souths. I’d say a premiership is almost inevitable at a huge club like Brisbane, but Souths is stronger than the Dragons. He was lucky at St George and unlucky at Souths. Newcastle is a weak club and making the preliminary final there is a bigger achievement than a grand final win in Brisbane.

Hasler wont get another top job again..

Flanagan is the same probably end up at the Dragons or another desperate club..

I would have taken Payten but he has fallen into a good club that was built up for him.

So when Matto returns will he be moved to the edge? I honestly think he needs to start. Matto isn't a prop and Hopgood is playing big minutes. I always liked Matto on the edge and I think that's where he's needed. He's one of our better forwards you want him playing big minutes. Also surely Asi gets a run at centre soon Waqa is seriously pissing me off.
Matterson was playing 60 minutes off the bench every week last year. But I agree he could also be an 80 minute option on the edge.

I just want to get excited when we are defending. Our system and execution needs to be blown up and started from scratch. Even a losing season to develop a new defensive resolve would be worthwhile.

I think Penisini is a gun, but we aren't using him correctly; ten years at the helm, and BA still can't coach a team to give their centres good, clean, early ball.

We over-spent on our starting pack, so it means our bench is average.

I think our recruitment focus should have been to poach youngsters from other clubs, or promote from within.
Development club lol, as I’ve said before Bea couldn’t develop a turd from a well fed dogs arse.

we made the grand final last year despite these failings - and nothing has been done to address them, which means he doesn't see them as failings and that in itself petrifies me.
Have you considered that perhaps you’re wrong and they aren’t failings? And that when we lose, confirmation bias leads you to think the loss was due to those decisions?
