Moses is now set to sign a bumper five-year deal worth upwards of $1.2 million per-season, despite the Eels losing their first three games of the season.

Not happy with this We have some pretty good kids coming through in the halves. At least we wont have to deal with his cousin for a while...

did we bend over for the extra year?
Yeah, how does it work? Suggestion is that it’s til the end of ‘28, does that make it a 4 year extension given the player option for ‘24? Or do we take it that it’s a 5 year extension because it will supersede the option year?

Will be interesting to know the figure, too. $1.2m a year seems slight overs at the moment (though arguably not with the dearth of halfbacks on the market), but it might be a steal in ‘26, ‘27 and ‘28 if he stays fit and healthy and depending on where the cap lands at that point.

If we win a comp in 5 years with Moses it's a steal..
I doubt he would have taken his player option for 24 at 950k when he could of taken 1.2mill
